SPIDERLILY'S PROFILE
Spiderlily
94
I am a six-form student studying Art/Design, Music and ICT. My dream is to become a professional artist and designer, creating things in my mind that hasn't been realised yet.
I am also working towards becoming a composer.
Lucid Dream Night One: Amnesia is the first game that I made for my school Art & Design project.
By the way, I'd like to offer my graphical abilities and/or musical skills to aid other RM projects.
Please contact me if you are interested.^_^

Um...slightly less feminine (?) version of Dr Brown + portrait of Anya(the nurse)

Typically, one good way to give a male character an intellectual or sophisticated sounding name is to take a name that's so long or so proper-sounding that anyone in their right mind would use the shortened form of it, and then make him use the long form of it. Bartholomew, Alexander, Benjamin, Frederick, Timothy, Leonard, etc. The same thing works, to a lesser extent, with two-syllable names that are almost always shortened, like Samuel or Stephen.
Of course, intellectual and sophisticated isn't the same thing as nerdy. You might be looking for something more like Sheldon or Simon. The kind of name that no one has any more, and has no shortened form, so if you get it you're screwed for life.
That's quite a lot of cool names!
However nerdy names are usually very long...
Personally Alexander is my favourite nerdy name but "Doctor. Alexander" just sounds like some kind of tongue twister.
ooh I really like the name Samuel - it's short and sophisticated!

How about Adrian? =D That's a nerdy name. Have to say, loving the art for the game. Don't skimp on drawing hands though!
Thanks!
Dr. Adrian? "Adrian" sounds very classic...it reminds me of historians for some reason.

author=DarkenDexterity sounds like a much better word than Power.
I would just call Power "Skill" or "Dexterity"
Thanks a lot for the idea!!!

Stripes don't work that way. They follow the fabric, they don't go straight up and down on the monitor... it is extremely disconcerting. The pattern on her dress has a similar problem.
Aside from that technical issue, I do really dig the designs. I appreciate that the dress isn't too over-the-top. If not for the spider brooch, you could get away with actually wearing that to a fancy event in real life.
Thanks for the observation.
I can see what you mean, it was easy just overlaying flat striped pattern on the fabric, but it'll look a lot better if I change their directions to follow the fabric.

So strength and power are the same thing? Why do you have both? Is one gained from level ups and the other from equipment? If they do exactly the same thing then I'd get rid of strength.
No, they look quite similar but there are differences.
Strength is gained from equipment, it governs the damage points of one normal attack to one enemy.
Power is gained from level ups, it controls the damage points when you use a special skill to attack one or more enemies.
Maybe I should think of a different name to make it less confusing...
