You know what, over the last three or four months I've been around, I've found the RMN community to, on the whole, be both friendly and helpful.

In the past, I've had very negative experiences with some online communities, so this place has generally been a pleasant surprise.
It might not hurt that there's an achievement for helping around. Makerscore is life, and all that.

I didn't even know that. I think there's just a culture of being friendly and helpful here. :) It's one of the reasons I stick around!

Oh, I'm doing my best to rack up 'dat sweet sweet Makescore as fast as I can, but it'll still probably take me years (plural) to catch up to you.
I think the achievement is there to help encourage the culture of friendliness. Like, do enough cool/awesome things for people, get recognized. That kind of thing.
