I just use the custom firmware for PSOne games and emulation, sometimes movies too. ;D

Nah but you see the ruins are in the same graphic style as the rest of the tile and fit in perfectly, they cant not fit in well.

80gig isn't being discontinued, just holding them off for the Metal Gear Solid 4 release. So anyways your asking for recommendations for any good Playstation game that's been released since.. hope you have the time, and money haha.


Crash Bandicoot 1 & 3 - These were some pretty cool platformers back in the day, hell Crash even became the mascot for the PSOne haha. The cool thing about these games is you can just enjoy them, and not really care if it's story is shit.

Final Fantasy IX - I still recommended VII or VIII, but I think you would enjoy IX better, plus it's my 2nd favorite game in the series, VII being first because it introduced me to RPGs and I just have great memories of really getting into that game.

Anyways Final Fantasy IX starts of with a young thief named Zidane, who is a part of the group "Tantalus", who's goal is to kidnap the princess of Alexandria, cheesy yes but this game just draws you in with it's creative character designs, beautiful music, fantastic visuals, great story, I just don't see why Square hasn't even tried to milk this brilliant masterpiece yet.. well except the cameos in Final Fantasy Dissidia, PSP Fighting game.

Metal gear Solid - Ive only liked the first in the series, such an awesome game, SO much better then the 2nd in the series. This game has so much action in it, and I remember going through it like 3 times just so i could get the stealth suit and bandana(Unlimited ammo)and the metal Ninja guy was hella cool haha.

Star Ocean The Second Story - Cool little Rpg from Enix, you should try it out, plus there is 2 different scenarios you can go through the game with so that's replay valvue, plus the different things you have to do through out the game to to get certain things and events, characters, etc.

Tekken Series, Resident Evil 2, Destruction Derby 2, Granturismo 1 & 2, Jonah Lomus Rugby, Spyro, Dino Crisis, etc.


Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - This game just fucken rules haha, ok story, great growth system, I loved going to the gym and doing up my stamina and getting huge as, then later on just eating heaps of pizza a burgers and being too fat to run haha.

Add a light blur effect to the pan man, and pick a better castle set because that map looks bad, to many conflicting styles such as the gargoyle and the statue, carpet could be darkened(Why is their carpet anyway) and it appears corner tile is missing where the flag is.

The colors are much more vibrant instead of being dull looking like the previous, and your mapping is always good man, so no complaints here.
