what is the game image layout?

author=kentona
Since this is a question about how the site operates (and not a game making question), it would also fit (imho fit better) in the User Feedback forum.

oh, ok. I guess I need to do a little more research before I make a post... Anyway, thanks again.

The maximum size is 544 by 416. You might wanna go with that. :P

106x80 pixels, however, RMN will automatically resize and crop any image you mark as "Main" when it creates that thumbnail, so dont worry too much.
Ok, thanks for the help!

Also, this should be in the Help Requests or User Feedback sections. The Welp, Welp forum is for fun and stupidity. Please remember that in the future. ^.^

Moved.
Oh, ok. It makes sense now that I think about it when it said that Welp, Welp was for "less serious" questions. I thought it meant questions that are not too hard to fix. I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

what is the game image layout?

I'm trying to import an main image for my game, which I know how now, but what is the actual image sizes I should use to import as my main image? For instance, is it 64 by 40 pixels? If anyone can help, that'd be awesome, thanks!

Game Image uploading issue: Website

Wow, your avatar is neat. An optical illusion I'm guessing? Because it looks like it is a full on animation rather than just looping again and again. Along with that, it seems 3D!

Your game logo and "main image" are actually two different things. If you want to use the logo as your "main image", upload it to the images area of your game (like you did with the screenshots) and check the box that says "use as main image".

Although...I don't see that image in your images list any longer, so I'm not sure why it using that (I didn't code that feature, blame kentona!) but the site seems to have cached the thumbnail.

There's no need for me to blame anybody, just a missunderstanding on my part. Anyway, thanks for the help!

Game Image uploading issue: Website

On my game submission, I've successfully imported the game's main image, sort of. It seems to have kept the old image that I've uploaded and is using that for game image. Although, on the game submission page, it has the new one I've uploaded. Here are some pics to give you an idea of what I mean...

Is it because the dimensions of the image have to be specific for it to work? If anyone can help that'd be great, thanks!

Glad to see that you finally made a profile for this :3. Good luck with it.

Ok, Thanks!

ok, Thanks! :)

I'm just wondering, you said that it needs to be created in VXAce or VXAce Lite. Is it ok if I create my own engine and create it from scratch in a programming language like c#? Or is it only restricted to games created with VXAce/VXAce Lite?
