Media isolation is something I am struggling to combat, not enable!
I can understand that.
I could see it as being more like the filters for game searching. All posts are available by default and I can search only topics, for example. Not as specific as a 'remove mafia' button.

Well, I remember knowing that they use a super hard metal but I can't remember if it's from the characters or that text. I couldn't help pausing to read it :3
But even if they used that metal for the bullets, that doesn't change anything about the way the projectiles are fired. It's still a tiny piece of metal being propelled by gunpowder. If they fired a little gun at the weak spot on the back of the neck, the damage done by a tiny hole would probably be negligible. Unless they fired at close range with some kind of shotgun. In which case a sword is going to be much more reliable, easier to use again, and will deal more damage.

well, you and a couple few others then. i did not actually even heard of that feature until someone made a fuss about last year's mafia topics clogging the feature lol.

I suggested something in the "future features" thread: a way to filter Latest Posts. Not strictly to remove Mafia posts, but that would be a happy side effect.
But like Kentona's response here, staff seems unwilling. Oh wells.
There's a lot more than Mafia posts that I'd like to remove from Latest Posts. Honestly, I don't mind right now. There hasn't been anything interesting going on.

I think he meant that the humans spines should break using the gear. I guess people are tougher in the...future?
Do buildings really fall down if you poke some relatively small holes in them? Hmm, I had no idea :3 It's not like they keep vaulting off the same building. I would think they have more structural integrity than that.
How many anime can you watch without suspending your disbelief xD None of the good ones, I'd say. But yeah, they're giant regenerating creatures. Guns don't solve every problem, ya know.

If you could shake the idea that what other people think matters, life becomes much more enjoyable. But not everyone can do that.
I was exactly like this in high school. It made me not say anything at all. I was known as the quiet guy. Any time I had a joke or comment I'd whisper it to my friend and he'd say it out loud. He didn't give a shit and I avoided any unnecessary embarrassment. But I also missed out on the accolades of saying something funny or clever hah
I can't say exactly how I managed to get over that. Maybe after years of going over the regrets and missed opportunities in my head, I just snapped. I was sick of living in fear of something that can't be controlled or changed. Learning about the vast universe and quantum theory may have played a part. A variation on the idea that we are so insignificant in the grand scheme of things that nothing we do matters, so why do anything?
In the grand scheme of things, why care about what others think? They will most likely forget about it in a few days/weeks anyway.
