Minecraft water works that way, never really had an issue with it. Realistically maybe it doesn't but as a game it makes it clear that these are the outer limits of where water will flow.

I've always wanted to make games in this kind of style. The player is crisp but the building are fuzzy.

It seems odd how the water level on his boots is different when he is standing sideways. It looks as though each foot is in a different depth.

Nice. My only nitpick is that it shouldn't say Kentendo because this was a community game not a Kentona game. You should have forced an RMN into that word.

It's randomly generated, so this isn't like most screenshots where those nitpicks can be fixed by moving a tree. It doesn't actually look "wrong", just a bit strange at first glance.

I don't see a problem with the grass color. Maybe it's your monitor?
