Why are a lot of us chicks?
I've been lurking for about a year, joined 6 months ago. It really didn't take long to figure most people out.
It's just annoying to take part in a discussion with a person(s) and then (as usual) things turn sour. What you tried to make a civil conversation turns into a derailed shitshow. A few insults are thrown and eventually the topic dies down. Then later when your posting random things in random places you see that same person scrutinizing your posts, waiting for that moment where they can twist your words in some kind of revenge attack with no legitimate reason to back it up. It sometimes comes in the form of a pre-existing ongoing joke/meme/image macro.
RMN becoming 4chan...haha 4chan is famous for immature retaliation tactics. It's a place where most thoughts are expressed with tired old memes and l33t speak. I said that half sarcastically as well. No need to blow it out of proportion and focus on that.
Not sure why everyone is suddenly feeling dissed and find it necessary to start trying to make me look foolish. That's the 4chan mob mentality I love so much. This doesn't always feel like a community, at times and only in certain places it feels like a high school clique. Sure, it's mostly in moronic threads but it spills over into legit topics, reviews, and sometimes gamepages. It's one thing to try and be civil at the start of something then have it turn sour, but to just enter a discussion with the intention of causing shit is just plain immature. I'm only really talking about a handful of people, not the whole site.

Anyways, that's all I have to say. Continue to flame. Some people are actually clever and funny about it.

it's sad that RMN is inhabited by a bunch of immature "internet kids". anything that can be taking out of context or interpreted for the sake of joke can and will be. this site is turning into 4chan, the asshole of the internet. the perfect place for some of these dicks.
