I say game development is a way to go! You should at least go to a college that has some form of game development in their curriculum. Or go to a college that's designed specifically for game design.

I would really disagree with you. If you want to work for a gaming company, it's probably better to have a computer science degree. A computer science degree is much more respected and more flexible. Game developers have a high burnout rate because of the crazy work schedules and the fact that they are readily expendable. There are literally kids fighting to get into the industry. So after that happens, you would be stuck with a gaming degree, which most mainstream programming industries won't accept.

Play it safe, get a CS degree. You'll thank me when you're 35.

It would seem that I have much to learn. :o

The Introduction Thread

And the member that suggested this thread was me! Anyway, I'm Tsukuru. I found out about this site a long time ago, but never joined until now. I only use RPG Maker 2000 for making my RPGs. I chose my nickname because it's the Japanese name for RPG Maker and I thought it sounded cool. And that's all I can give you. :)

The Great Console Count

PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo Gameboy Advance. :)

We Did It First screenshot thread

I see VideoWizard is trying to do that sprites on Panaorama effect. Yet...it's not as good as The Way's.

World of Warcraft

Can anyone tell me why people become so obsessed with this MMORPG? I could never see why. What's so great about it? ???

Something Recent

You are very talented. Great job. If only I had talent to draw like that. :-[

No Introduction Thread?

Since there isn't an introduction forum, I thought there would be an introduction thread. Guess not. :(

Dragon Quest IV, V, and VI for DS (with scans)
