author=nhubiauthor=PhantasmiAre they .ogg files? Normally they're pretty well compressed, 100Mb is crazy. You may want to think about looping whatever track that is (and the 50Mb too) and therefore reducing length and subsequently size.
Okay, so after digging through Kairo, I found the culprit for the size. Its big the way it is now because of the audio encoding, some of the audio files exceed 50mbs, with one being 100MB in size, I'll cut it down, fix the code thing area, and put a smaller more appealing download
I converted all bad files into MP3, cutting total game size in half, from 400MB to 200MB

If so could you do a non-rtp version too? it'll probably up the number of people who download the game since a smaller size is more appealing and easier for some.
Okay, downloaded. It only took me like, four hours :P (my internet connection must be really crummy)
And yeah about the custom art, most of the good stuff is for part 2. There isnt a single overworld map that isnt parralaxed, and the music is pretty vast, but there still is no reason for the download to be so large. The first game I created ever had the same issue. Kairo is the second game I've created, but it posseses this issue, I'll see what I can do

I feel like people are gonna love part 2. Part 2 got some really good stuff going for it. It'll be released pretty soon.

Wow, that's huge then. I'd be interested to know your thoughts about the artistic aspects then once you've given it a go.
Reason being the project includes plenty of end game material. Also, I hate to say it, but so many of my iterations of Kairo are mixed up, I hope I uploaded the correct version of Kairo. Just incase I did not, then you'll need a code for now because this iteration may be impassable without it, until I re-upload. The code is 545. It's used in the area where the enemies begin appearing.

sexy as that artwork is unfortunately it reminded me of a horror game with a sickening ending...
anyway,ill give it a shot custom artwork demands at least trying it.

This is very creepy. It's a bit blurry, too. I hope it looks even more nice in-game.

This is what the original image kinda looked like, I wanna keep it more like this. If you play through the story, you start to understand it abit, and in Kairo Part 2, you should understand completely.
