A Very Long Rope to the Top of the Sky

'scuse me. In first dungeon after teleporting to Balfur, with the wraiths, there are 2 chests on platforms from where there is a one-way down only. How do I get them? Is there a second floor with holes nearby, or a flying character, or wil characters return to the past when there was a way?
UPD: Never mind, found it. Very funny!

Slowing swamp is a bit unnerving, but not as much as trying to navigate giant labyrinthine map in search of a fourth teleporter lock while constantly fighting random battles was. :)
I once caught myself thinking: oh, dear, I've walked for about maybe 10 seconds already without enemies attacking, is something broken? Did they end?
*random battle starts* Whew.

Also, maps in this game make me feel a bit.. Agoraphobic, I think it was called.
The first big city we came to is actually big. With different areas, and people, and tons of houses 3*3 tiles each, that, once you enter and the size scale changes accordingly, have 3 to 5 big rooms with people inside.
And also big mansions, that feel about the same size as the city, only with multiple floors.
People who played TheElderScrolls series might not appreciate such vast landscapes where NPC might actually live, having all they need, and absolutely nothing for you to steal.

About items again - Is the Sword of shifting mist very effective against ghosts or beings from other worlds, or it just boosts SPI and all?

Well, logic of mine:
We need door6. Switch3 opens door2. sw2 opens either d2 or d7, =>d7. sw4 opens d1 or d8 near sw2's, so =>d8. Sw8 opens d1 or d3, doesn't matter. Sw5 opens d4 or d5. Sw6 opens sw5+2, so d6 or d7. Sw7 opens a door near sw6's, so d5 to d8, but d7&d8 are taken, so d5 or d6. Sw1 opens a door from d3 to d6, cause d2 and d7 are taken. That leaves sw1, sw6 and sw7
I thought like this.

And yes, you were right about the vine. Found 2 of them, thanks.

So, there is no possible way to know that this specific item will be used for crafting of a much cooler weapon later? The "Three plagues dagger" uses up 3 items.

While in Silver Spring, I remembered about an unopened door and a key that dropped from Diego and went all the way back inside.
It was awful. I wasn't prepared for monsters this powerful. Only after clearing all the way to Diego's axe I found myself without MP and remembered that every character has a means of replenishing it in battle. With this knowledge Path of Gods was pretty easy.

A Very Long Rope to the Top of the Sky

Excuse me, I'm now at the end of a "thorny pass in darkness" labyrinth and I have one question -
there were 2 chambers before, divided with a wall, at the very beginning - you get into a right one with a switch and a hole in the floor by stairs from below, and in the left half there's a vine ladder from above, and I feel that I missed the place where that vine starts, and can't find my way to the chest.

Also, I'd like to see what the last button puzzle of the cave #1 was like before -
Now there is just 1 door you need to open, and of the 8 buttons only 3 might fit a description. And of those 3 I just guessed on a 1st try..

One more thing, are all the found gear items unique? So, if I wasted "little mecha girl" set on a weapon, there will be no replacement for it?
