YELLOW MAGIC'S PROFILE

Something that's been in my head for a while; are you one of those amateur game-makers who tries to take the world of indie games to the next level, or are you just in it for the fun (as in, can't be bothered making the BEST GAME POSSIBLE and just want to make whatever seems good and fun to you)?

I suppose I'm a mixture of both. While I admit I am not motivated enough to make utterly brilliant masterpieces, I sometimes think about how cool it'd be to have a game that, say, people make walkthroughs of...most of the time, though, I just get this really weird ideas (like using music aesthetic combined with a certain graphics style to make my game seem more atmospheric than, say, great gameplay).

I want to quit this game making business and do something else. But.....what? :\

I like sequencing music but I'm not prepared to dish out £100 for a MIDI keyboard I probably won't even use.
