If you're here, we're assuming you have at least a marginal interest in games, either playing them or making your own. In that case, head on over to the Games page. If you never stop by there, then that's just laziness.
It's possible to be interested in game making but not playing and I'm not saying that I don't enjoy playing every once in a while. But If I never had the urge to play a game I would never have to go there. And no, lack of interest and laziness aren't the same thing in this case.

arcan, it's the same principle dude.
On forums like GW or whatever, you browsed a forum and clicked a topic to check out what that game was about. All you have to do here is go to http://rpgmaker.net/ and click on the game, which is essentially the topic.
Also on the forums you never "found" what you were looking for through advertisement. You stumbled upon the game by clicking every new topic. You can do that here too, you know. Except you might see a pretty preview picture before you click on it.
Yes it is quite similar if you put it like that but not exactly. If I remember correctly the subforum that had all the games in it also had discussions. I wasn't out looking for something to play but but if a game caught my interest I would look at it. The whole point is that I would found something interesting unexpectedly.
I don't think this only applies to me either.
Edit: thread titles count btw

Do you see how redundant that is? One of the reasons for an advertisement is to make a person aware of something that might interest them but if I am on that page already then I have already found what I am looking for and then what the hell do I need to see an advertisement for? It's like going into Walmart and seeing a sign that says "Shop at Walmart", I mean for what other possible reason would even go in there? Perhaps we aren't even talking about the same thing here but what you showed me is not an advertisement in the sense that I was talking about.

Ye I knew about that place but I just didn't realize that they weren't actually being posted on the forum like at GW and I actually played games there. Though I like how it's organized and has it's own place in the site, the lack of advertising I see is probably one reason I play so few games. Before I would just browse the forums and check out games that caught my interest but the game section is kind of out of the way. You could say I'm being lazy but my main interest in this site is not to play games so I always link directly to the forums without seeing any games. I think the problem here is lack of exposure in our own site. Basically what I am saying is that the GW system worked better.

I just realized that there isn't a place on the forums specifically for advertising/uploading. By forums I mean the actual forum part of the site.
Alternate Elemental Interpretations
I don't really get why white and black are thrown into the mix. But I do think it would be cool if there were dark reds, light greens, and stuff like that .
Anime - your guilty pleasure

on an aside, is the whole point of anime to have girls in sexy-cute poses?
No, just most of the shitty ones. I can see why you would think that but its still a huge generalization. Most people that say they don't like anime either haven't watched enough or are just saying that because hating anime is cool.

I love a lot of the older animes but there are still a few good ones that are coming out. I recommend Code Geass to anyone that liked Death Note, the reason will be obvious if you watch it. Soul Eater was also pretty good. But Trigun will always be one my top favorites.
