ARIEDONUS'S PROFILE

I have been fiddling with RPG Maker on and off for six or so years, and in becoming so accustomed to it, have been reluctant to learn to hard code anything. Despite that, I plan on going to school for Game Design, because I -love- making games (although I have yet to finish one, haha). I'm also pretty terrible at coming up with an interesting block of text about myself, so I am going to end this here! :D

Transparent System Graphics

Post the system graphics and I'm pretty sure I can help you out, because I've done exactly what you want in a previous game of mine. Chances are, you're just not setting up the graphic right or importing it the right way.

TF2 Sprites Needed

With all due respect, a request that hefty from someone that hasn't even bothered to explain their credentials or acquaint themselves with community is likely to receive negative/uncaring responses. Honestly, I doubt that anyone is going to help you with this for the above reasons and the huge amount of work that would have to be done, seeing as you can't really use the TF2 graphics for a RM2k3 game. They would have to be custom-made, and the chances of anyone doing that for a complete stranger are extremely low.

Again, I mean all of this with respect, and I didn't want you to hear it from someone who might not say it so nicely, haha. Also, I'm not saying that someone WON'T do it, just that it's not likely.

Transparent System Graphics

What I would do is simply have a system set for the title screen and then the system set for your actual game. Set the default to the title one and just make the system set background transparent. Then, after the game starts, have it switch to the real one.

Um...Hello

Awesome, welcome to RMN! We love fresh meat friends! :D

Discussion isn't drama... Craze...

You forgot to link. link :]

As far as commenting on the discussion that's been happening...maybe later. I haven't been following it close enough to jump in.

What is your current weight, and where do you want to be later on?

I weigh 135-140-ish and I'm about 5'10"-5-11" or so (as you can tell, I'm not one for exact measurements). I'm a pretty skinny dude, but I've gained a little bit of weight in my tum tum since I graduated (it's not the Freshman 15, not even close, haha). Lately, I've been trying to buff up a little, so my goal is to a) lose the small amount of tum tum fat and b) gain muscle (HULK SMASH!!!!). Not exactly sure on the specifics, though I want to maintain a more slim, athletic figure instead of a bulky, kill shit figure, if that makes sense. :]

City Tilesets needed

You should read the forum stickies.

As far as helping you, though, you honestly need to give a lot more details as to what you need. What kind of town are you making? Is it modern or medieval? Stuff like that. It's really hard for people to help if you don't give them details.

Well... Here I am.

I was trying to be witty with my one-liner earlier.

But on a more serious note, welcome to the site! If you ever do feel like posting your work, I'm sure the Artistic License & Literature forum would love to see it. :]

Well... Here I am.

Welcome to RMN. And no it's not just you, we're better than all of the other sites "of this nature."

Mostly because we're really humble.

I remember Whoopa had a game with the same name

The game's name is likely to change, to be honest. It's pretty generic, but I just wanted something for it to be called for now, haha.
