This reminds me a bit of Paper Mario, but it reminds me even more of Pokemon around Generation 4 or 5, just a bit less top-down.

Yes, and it's much appreciated! (going to back to slow EO1 after playing EOU and EOU2 is... interesting. I walk so slowly, I battle so slowly!)

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I got Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 today. There are a whopping 14 classes (counting Highlander, 15 with Fafnir Knight) and I absolutely love that.
Oh and I absolutely love this game so far. It took EO2 and it made it FUN yay

Favorite 3DS games?
Like, all the Etrian Odyssey games, 'specially if we're counting the DS ones (well okay I'm not fond of 2 but it's remake coming out in a week or two may change that).
I have to agree with some other suggestions here, Link Between Worlds, Majora's Mask 3D, Smash 4, Pokemon OR/AS (X/Y were good but Hoenn remakes win out fo sho), New Leaf. Ooh, Bravely Default was something I really enjoyed too. I'd list all the DS games I love too but we'd be here a while if I did.)

Anathema's tentacles! We need to get out of it's grasp, now!" Let me just grab my, uh, shield (>:l), check if Renae, Zuko, or anyone else still in Anathema's reach is alright and ready to flee (if someone ISN'T ready I'll pick them up if I can), and then we can get away from Anathema!
I don't want to be grabbed by Anathema, so I'll try to retrieve my weapons and skedaddle (shh that word isn't silly). If i can't grab my weapons fast enough, I'll just get out of there. Once I'm away from those tentacles, I'll call Gourd to me and be ready to fight more Crawlers. (Am I doing this well I feel like I'm not doing this well)
