Hi I'm Nikki (everyone still calls me Char though) and I'm really bad at making descriptions.

It'd be pretty sweet if this were real. Funny though!

This actually isn't a joke as long as you have a toaster that has a usb connector on it. This guy is rather serious with all of his stuff.

expect a game from me within the next week

If you're the type who likes to suffer, forever waiting in the nine circles DEVELOPMENT HELL, here you go. Another option from the depths of development hell.

I guess maybe this game??? On the level, I've never played it so I can't speak to quality, but i hear it has gender stuff in it if that's what you're looking for. It's something with a download.

Outside of RMN, I've been keeping up with Aerannis.

UH...I feel like I've seen/played a lot of twine games that might interest you? I don't have any links on hand, not off the top of my head. OTL

Seen Origin never saw the demon one, played I'm scared of girls nothing really special but yeah, and saw the kickstarter looks interesting.

It might be that you're using an upper tile that is invisible and set to being walked on (use the first tile of TileB for erasing tiles on the upper layer).
If it's a roof tile, if you shift-clicked it and didn't add anything to block them from below it allows walking. Actually, in Ace, roof tiles automatically allow this feature when walked on from the bottom. So this is why you don't use roof tiles as walls.
It might also be that you changed the arrow directions in the tileset configuration (one of the options on the left side in the Tileset tab of the database). If there are arrows it means that they can walk on the tile in that direction.
If there's an event on top of the tile that is set to Below Hero, it can also be walked on.

Yeah it ended up being that thank you!

Not having a name or a gender for the bird makes the dialog not as smooth, though. People usually speak with affection about pets, and lacking a name or gender makes her relationship to the bird seem distant to me. .

Though yes the repeated 'my bird' comment is clunky a name would make the narrative flow better.

Yeah this is true I will work on that as soon as I figure our why tiles I've marked as impassable are allowing me to step on them

Not bad. Will there be any music in the prelude? And does her bird have a name?

I'm planning to keep it to nature sound effects (The video is a bit soft that's my fault) and I'm planning to just keep it as Raincoat girl and bird for now and planning to allow you to name them in what we've been working on.
