Did you happen to purchase any fire rings from the shopkeeper in Lidenburg? The fight is significantly easier if you did, but if you didn't, the strategy I'll tell you will change.
Purchase fire rings and beat him but I think we are talking about different villains. Mine was a single entity with no partners. However, I am at a loss where to proceed from here.

How do you kill the phoenix in the pyramid at Bariden. I have tried everything except stand on my head.

In Castle Draxil in the room with all the gold I get a message that says audio/se/mystic_chanting_4-marianne_gagnon-591053853 not found and it throws me out of the game.
