Square Enix loses all sanity, announces Final Fantasy 13-2
Hope's bitchassness was almost unbearable in 13. Leona Lewis plus the chocobo theme with lyrics overshadowed alot of the great music in the game.
I've tried many times to finish 12(even with cheats to speed things up), but just can't do it. Vaans closeted homosexuality plus his award winning signature douchebag dialog make him the worst protagonist of any ff game.
The newest trailer for FF 13 verses looks great though. If Square messes this one up I'll be that crazy fanboy that goes to SE headquarters and starts beating the hell out of everyone with a 2x4. Just playing. But seriously.

Any early 90s west coast gangster shit as a villains theme would be AWESOME.

i believe i've found video of you drumming with a Roland SPD-S! total topic derail, but i have been seriously considering dropping the dough to pick one of those up. your thoughts?
Umm depends on how you want to incorporate it into your drumming. They're a bit pricey for its storage capabilities, even with the limited size flash card upgrade. Plus the audio editing is a real hassle compared to the precision and speed of a computer application. For one shot triggers while playing on a kit, it'll get the job done. If you're doing something more complicated like setting up multiple loops and effects, you might wanna look into a set up with Ableton and a Launchpad.

You know, just looking to create chill/banger beats for a strong mature character based game ie Persona/Shadow Hearts Covenant. What I mean by that is an original and relatable cast... no game starting with a 14 year old looking for "herbs" for the village elder.

Any samurai champloo soundtrack fans on the board?
Woah thanks everyone. Its one of those tracks where I still can't tell if I like it or not- so its always cool hearing somebody else's opinion.
I made it by cutting up about 5 baby-makin barry white tunes, a guitar solo that my buddy recorded like 6 months ago, and a diana ross acapella in Recycle. The pianos just me doodling around on the keys and some panning. I did all sorts of processing to the samples and sequenced it in Reason 4.0. I'm not much of an anime fan but samurai champloo and cowboy bebop are THE shizzle. Both have sick soundtracks and characters(minus that dbag edward). Don't they have the same creator or something?

Man I love this shows music. I dunno about you guys but I'd love to see that style of hip hop in an rpg game. Granted it wouldn't work in the cliché rpg realm but it'd be sweet in a persona/earthboundish game. BAM. Anyway I just made a new beat going for that style so check it out here
