Turning a script process off
I figured it out. I set it so that after you kill them in battle, the event re-locates to an area where they do not have LOS, and It works well, however, I have now encountered the issue of the script only running properly on the first instance of the sniper i create on the map, and it does not seem to work for the others. it is a script i got from somewhere, so i have no clue how to alter things, but this issue probably has a simple solution that I am just overlooking. any thoughts from anybody?

So I'm making a game. In the game I have a stealth system script that creates a line of sight for guard characters. I have it set up so if you come into their LOS, you will die (they're snipers) but you can get up to where they are, and kill them. the dying effect is caused by a common event the script calls. So anyway. I have it so that they change to a pile of bones after they are killed, but the problem is, the script is still running on the event, and the bones still kill me when I'm within the LOS.
I tried erasing the event, but the script still runs, and I still die. so I was just wondering how could I combat this situation? I have multiple snipers in an area, so just creating a conditional branch where you either die, or not, based on a universal variable/switch will not work as i want it to. can anybody offer me help here? It would be much appreciated. This one factor here is preventing the release of a demo, and is really bugging me. I am using RPG Maker VX.

Never mind guys. I just figured out the Issue. I didn't have a weapon animation set for him being equipped with an axe. Silly little things you overlook.

it's a battle command linked to an event. and the event removes the original character, saves their level in a variable, and places the other into the party. This is just how the tutorial said, if you know any more effective ways i'd love to know 'em.
There seems to be some issue with removing the original party member. cuz it shows the animation just fine, but when it supposed to replace the character with the other, I get that error.
Also does it help to say that I converted an RM2K project to 2K3 and am working with blank battle character sets and rm2k monster art to make the battle style in the game similar to the one in RM2k? well not blank battle characters, but they're nothing but the blue BG.

I'm trying to set it up so that one of my characters can transform into a stronger character during battle. i had a tutorial on it, but every time i try to transform, it gives me an error that says "event script referenced a battle animation that does not exist" i'm using RM2K3. any help would be great. So I know how to make ranged weapon ammunition in RM2K3, but I wanted to use RM 2K For It's Battle System, and was wondering. what would be the process to make an ammunition system on RM2K? I've dug around in the code a bit, and maybe i've just overlooked it, but I have no clue how to do so. anyway, thanks guys.

I was wondering if there was a way to use MP3's in your games made with RPG maker 2000 I decided to try this older RPG maker version, since I like the battle system more, and I have discovered that you cant use mp3's is there a patch to allow me to do so or anything like that. thanks. :)
