Keyboard Problems With RPG Maker 2K

Actually, I switched to a different keyboard and now it works just fine.
I guess there was just something about my other keyboard that RPG Maker didn't like. What's funny though is that I used the same keyboard on my older computer and it worked just fine.
Weird.

Keyboard Problems With RPG Maker 2K

I just checked again, and it's not just RM2K. Any games made with either RM2K or 2K3 won't recognize my keyboard except for the escape key.
However, XP games work just fine. So, I have no idea what's going on.

Keyboard Problems With RPG Maker 2K

I tried that, and it doesn't appear to be the problem.

Keyboard Problems With RPG Maker 2K

I recently installed RPG Maker 2000 to my newer computer (a HP Compaq with Windows XP on it). I'd been using RM2K on my older computer (a Compaq Presario with Windows 2000 professional) for the last few years and I decided to finally switch over to my newer computer.
Now, I installed it and everything worked fine until I test played it and several of the controls wouldn't work.
Both my arrow keys and my enter/spacebar keys are not working. Esc still works fine, however, several other buttons which shouldn't have any function are taking over for enter/spacebar/z . I have no problems with my keyboard on any other program on my computer, so why is this happening?

What the HELL is THIS shit?!

Okay . . . I seriously felt my IQ slowly draining as I watched that trailer, wow.
Not only has hollywood become ridiculously dumbed down, it's now gotta take us down with it.

Best and Worst Zelda Game

I honestly think this topic should be changed to "most and least favorite" as I don't think there is Zelda game (other than the CD-i games) that can be described as bad.

Honestly, though, my least favorite would be a toss up between "Link's Awakening" or the "Oracles" games. I liked them as a kid but when I try to play them now, I get bored. And while I can't fully elaborate on this observation, as I haven't played a lot of "Minish Cap" and haven't played "Phantom Hourglass" at all yet, but it seems the handheld games definitely get the short-straw in the series in terms of quality.

Most Favorite would definitely be "Ocarina of Time" with "Twilight Princess" and "Link To The Past" as runner-ups.

What? You actually think he's serious 100% of the time? He's more of a "retro gamer" then you'll ever be. Have you seen his collection? Has he ever hated on a good NES game like SMB, Megaman, Contra, etc? I agree that he has bad acting, forced humor and all that. But saying he's some new-age Xbox fanatic is just silly. He's huge on oldschool video game collecting. You sound like you're talking about The Irate Gamer.

The guy comes off so hateful at times, though. Maybe he is more of a reotrogamer, I don't know. I just know that when I used to watch him, there were times where it seemed like he was going after the entire NES collection because some NES are really bad. It got to the point where I couldn't watch him anymore.
Especially after his diss on Castlevania 2. Although I realize the bosses were so bad in that game, the exploration and rpg elements are great and he totally disregarded those elements just for the sake of humor.
I've never actually seen The Irate Gamer. I usually don't regular video series like that. I just remember being forced to watch AVGN a lot at my friend's house, 'cause he thought he was "uber-hilarious."

Let's Play! Final Fantasy IV Edition! ALSO A GENERAL FINAL FANTASY DISCUSSION TOPIC

I honestly liked the new system. Even if I didn't, I have to give Square props for finally trying something new in terms of gameplay.

I honestly can't stand that guy.
First off, there have been a few games on there that I have likes that he has dissed for lame reasons (i.e. Castlevania 2. I don't care what anyone says, that game is fun)
Secondly, most of the games he reviews that suck, a four year old could tell you that they suck. And he's not all that funny about it. He's like Carlos Mencia, using anger and forced jokes to make up for lack of wit.
Finally, he comes off as one of those guys who hates all NES games and only plays Xbox. That ticks me off. Although I'll never understand the people who only play Xbox games, but I will respect their opinions. However, I can't stand the "Xbox-only" people who diss on people for liking retro games.
