Games that are popular but you haven't played

-World of Warcraft (refuse to ever play that...)
-Pretty much any type of MMO (don't have the time or a powerful enough computer)
-Any realistic shooter (i.e. war games-pointless if you ask me, games are supposed to be about escape or whatever, why ruin the experience with games about depressing real life stuff such as war)
-Pretty much any shooter after Golden Eye and Perfect Dark (those games were perfection, why ruin a good thing)
-Most sports games (with the exception of NBA Jam, NFL Blitz, and NHL Hitz)
-Guitar Hero/Rock Band (outside of stores anyway)

Let's Play! Final Fantasy IV Edition! ALSO A GENERAL FINAL FANTASY DISCUSSION TOPIC

I really liked 12's storyline. However, it was another game where I didn't like the main character and I'm getting sick of that. However, unlike in other FF games I didn't hate the main character, I just never really got into Vaan's character (I honestly thought he was just a less annoying version of Tidus without the "daddy doesn't love me" complex).
I loved Basch, Ashe and Balthier, but I have to agree with Feldschlacht IV that there wasn't enough progression in the characters. And there was a complete lack of character interaction or any really complex relationships other than with Vaan and Penelo and Vaan and Basch.

Fable II

I think this game'll finally be the reason and inspiration I need to buy a 360. (Which is funny, considering the original Fable was the reason I bought an Xbox).

"For the right price every house, hut, dungeon and castle is for sale."

So that option will be available whenever. Aww, I took pride in the fact that I owned entire towns not just because I had enough money, but that I had to kill the all owners to make the buildings available for sale. (I know, I'm evil ;) )

This'll be great, though. I loved the original Fable even with its few flaws. I really hope the choices and consequences are really more expanded and actually affect stories and missions.

I just want to know if the NPC design is better, because all the NPC's in the first one were so incredibly ugly. It really took the fun out of being married, considering all your choices for wives (including Lady Grey) were so ugly looking.

What was the first game you ever played?

I still remember my first games to this day. I was four or five and my parents bought me an NES for Christmas along with three games: Legend of Zelda, Castlevania 2, Super Mario Bros. 3. I fell in love with all of them instantly.

If you could remake any videogame which one would it be?

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, as an MMO. Yes, an MMO.

WHAT A TERRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE A CURSE would just flash up at the top, and every NPC in the towns would all just dissapear, zombies comin out everywhere...

I don't know about an MMO, but I'd love to this remade for DS, with it's few MAJOR flaws fixed, of course (amp up the difficulty, especially with the pathetic bosses).

New To Site

Hello, I'm Kmac (actually it's Kris, but kmac has been a nickname of mine for years).
Yeah, so, this site is completely new to me. I was an avid GW resident for a long time but I've decided to find something new.
If anyone is interested, I am an experienced RM user. I first got into RPG Maker four years ago. I have been developing my first major project for three years now and I am close to finishing it while I have two other projects that are on the backburner. I have been juggling back and forth between RM2K and RM2K3 but I eventually want to move on to Sphere, quite possibly after these next few projects (I am trying to avoid XP and VX since I don't like what they did with the battle engines).
I am a Film Studies major and a Computer Science minor. I eventually want to own my own company dedicated to Film, Animation and Game Development.
Some of my interests are Web Development, Writing (short stories/poetry), Mountain Biking/Hiking, Playing Guitar/Singing, Music {which my favorites spans every genre possible . . . as long as its good ;) }, Psychology/Sociology, Theology, Mysticism/Mythology . . . the list really goes on and on.
Anyway, that's my generic intro post, if I've caught anyone's interest at all ;) .
Other than that, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in the forums.
