I'm going to have to agree with you on that one. This has been one of the more... shall we say "surreal" gaming experiences I've had lately. To put it another way: I feel like Master Shake was on the dev team for this game. lol

Is that the Sega Theron's Quest...? If so, I only tried it a bit - it is very hard to control with gamepad, but am considering it as something to do on my Android phone while I commute :) - there seems to be many version so f this game, found out the Saturn had a version too...
It didn't have a subtitle in the release I played, but subsequent releases and/or releases in other markets may have added one. The Saturn release is a new one to me. I'll have to look into it, since my Saturn is still alive and well.

edit: Theron's Quest appears to be the Turbografx/PC Engine version. DM Nexus for the Saturn seems to be Japanese only, which would explain why it slipped under my radar.

I should probably come clean and admit that I put in several hundred hours playing the sequel on the Sega CD, too. You haven't lived until you've tried to play Dungeon Master with a game pad. lol
