No, I'm only using one battle script. I'm also wondering why it happened. As I dig through google, there is not certain answer to why this happens. The only funny solution is to activate proxy settings for the internet settings. Once that's activated, the crash doesn't happen. Maybe it's something to do with the fact that I do this both from home and in the office and the internet settings is different? I'm baffle as well...

I am at the place where the book of monsters is being kept. I have no potions or anything left. I am going to have to scroll out and regroup and then come back. Either a heal point or teleport or something...even a merchant would have helped a lot.

Did you find the chest I left infront of the Catacombs Tower? Looks like I better replace the chest with a merchant. Thanks for the feedback.

I like the game well enough to do the above but not before taking a break from the game. At this point it is too frustrating to continue all this way and then not being able to regroup before this battle.
Actually after a dozen attempts I beat the monster and got the book of monsters...now back to the royal somebody who I cant remember where she/he is or which scroll I use to get to her/him. Anyway I come out to the world map but it leads nowhere...is it just for show?

It's actually for those who would like to come back via a ship for leveling. But no reason to come back if you don't want to.

Is the demo near to being finished at this point?
Nope, you're like 60% of the game right now. If you read the book you should know that you have not faced a few more interesting monsters.

Either right after the first battle outside town or at most after the second battle, the game simply crashes but doesnt give any info as to why.

XP right? If yes, I'm sorry. No solution. I've googled countless website but still no solution. Sorry, but thanks for the feedback. I found one funny issue but not sure why it would affect this. I notice if my proxy settings is switched on, the crash doesn't happen. But if the proxy settings is switched off, the crash happens. I know is sounds funny but that is all I can figure out for now. I've even tried various different scripts and also no using any scripts but also no ideal solution. Hence save often, especially after every 2 battles.

OMG! I kinda gave up making any more games at the moment thinking no one really plays them. Thanks for this message. I was working on a 3rd game but stopped half way. Looks like I have found a reason to continue.... :)
