Touhou Fantasy

thanks that solved it

is there a trick to get through eientei? the door at the end is looping through the whole corridor again, and i have investigated all the rooms - not sure if i'm missing something

Touhou Fantasy

is there a storyline trigger before the NPC outside of Alice's house can trade dolls?

she spoke to me one time about exchanging, but i haven't been able to speak to her afterwards (and exchange some of the dolls i have)

fun game so far, finally running a full party after completing the mansion's library

Touhou Fantasy

congrats on finishing your game, i discovered one bug that sounds like it could be important

the doll on magic forest - hard path is not added to your inventory

Lakria Legends

Finished! Congrats on your strong (and well-deserved) showing in the Misaos. I will list some (hopefully not too scattered) feedback below.

Summary: Lakria Legends is very close to being a commercial-quality indie-RPG. Of course, that is a very strict interpretation of commercial-quality. I am comparing your game against the like of Aldorlea Games or White Giant RPG Studios, who offer good bang for your buck, for example, and not the oh-so-many dubious offering out there. Lakia Legends is a good enough game to spend money on, but improvement in a few areas, would make it easier to sell and/or justify a higher price.

Ok on to the various features and some other comments.

Music: Excellent. I won't go too much into this because often I will play games with the volume off, as I might be watching a movie on the side, but the soundtrack was unique and very enjoyable.

Character Development & Plot: Pretty good. Dialogues did drag a little bit in the second half of the game, but the progression through the world map and around characters was well done / felt pretty natural.

Map & Dungeon Design: I thought the Dungeon Design was fantastic. Having all the optional items to interact with and the score at the end to let you know if you found everything. Plus a few monsters and mini-bosses would have rare drops to looks out for.

The only negative here is that sometimes it was a pain to find the correct item (like turtle toss in a dungeon) so some kind of item sort or sub-category would have been helpful. Similarly, to access high-usage items like the flute / paradise druit / party jewel easier.

Battle Mechanics: I thought the enemies scaled pretty well (including bosses) and didn't even really feel grindy except for a little bit towards the end. Double/Triple attack, Watcher Summons & occasional field effects were all fun. Good variety of status effects through skills & their upgraded versions, even though I rarely needed to take advantage of them. The power of Watchers & Incarnations did feel a bit inconsistent, or more specifically, sometimes they were very weak which was a little confusing, especially relative to mana cost. Night's regular skills in particular were almost never as good as his normal attack. Leon's upgraded Nova Skill might have be OP as it seemed like instant death would trigger a lot.

*Relics: Relics were a fun, thoughtful mechanic, that started off very useful and ended up not mattering much. I think it would have been great if there were more available.
*Mermaid Powers: I would like it if the gift of nature could do more damage, it felt rather inconsequential everytime it triggered and I discovered it early on.

Shopping: Money felt a bit tight after Mirage Temple. For example, if you wanted to grind to buy anything in Nivel it could take a very long time. I also felt that weapon progression was a bit unevent in spots, and that Peace's weapons tended to lag behind a bit behind the rest of the party (that he started underleveled relative to the party didn't help).

Sidequests/Achievements/Bestiary: Very well done, I don't feel a need to go into detail on them, but I don't want it to be lost in between some of my other areas of emphasis.

Again, I really enjoyed playing Lakria Legends, I think it was without a doubt one of the best (if not the best) RMN games of 2017. And please let me know if you have any questions for me about my playthrough / other thoughts / etc..

Lakria Legends

Minor bug report

Bestiary entry 238 does not appear after defeating the mini-boss. It seems like 237 and 238 share the same name of Beezle, maybe that is the source of the problem.

I've done everything but the final boss, will be sure to let you know how it goes and my final impressions

Lakria Legends

still chipping away

minor bug report: leena's skill 'seal of gaea' is not available in battle after learning

minor question: can android be encountered anywhere outside of tram battle series?
i want the rare drop but might take me a long time if this is the only place (didn't see it anywhere else in the lab)

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II

author=MightyMonte88
Hey guys i just got the airship, is there anything optional / secret i can do before i move forward with the story??

Yes. New locations open up and old locations are easy to return to. If you want to do a little exploring, here are some things I discovered. You might have more fun, trying to find them on your own. I am not much ahead of you in my own playthrough.

There are a few surprises in Berona City.
Winter can try to dig up an extremely rare piece of treasure (1%!)
You can scout out some locations you will visit - some might be locked / partially locked.
You can catch up on bounties / the arena / and whistles for augerers.
New tetra card(s) /opponents(s)
You can find new monsters on the world map - I got toasted by Grandpa Cactrot on a desert island.

I'm sure there is more but I don't think there is any urgency to explore too much before continuing the story.

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II

Question about a boss - may reference minor spoilers

Is Tritoch beatable when you fight him on the boat?

Bug Report?

Going through Mt. Zagh, Lysha is not opening the 2nd door to Kohlington. She says let me know when your done doing your own stuff and we can go. Not sure what I'm supposed to do next if this is intentional

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II

Not sure that this adds much to the conversation but I got the black screen sailing bug one time as well. Even though the screen went dark I was able to talk to the sailor and the display went back to normal when he took me to the next port.
