Hey, no problem. I'm here for whatever you need.
1) To finish the quests about murders, you should probably look south, in the first wilderness. You should find a cave, filled with kobolds and levers. Be sure to bring a Shovel.
2) That critter is tough. There are a few acid potions in one of the chests inside one of the various caves. But you can always make more with the alchemy skill. (The recipe is found in the same cave I mentioned before). Also, a question: Do you have learned Alchemy?
3) Be sure to let me know if you get that nasty crash error again, and what you were doing when you get it. For example: does it happens IN-BATTLE or OUTSIDE-BATTLE? Any info is a huge help to me. Thanks a lot for the replies.

Also, to clarify:
When you select the Blacksmithing Skill from the Skill Menu, all it does is show you your skill level.
To actually craft stuff and use the skill, you have to go to an anvil (like the one in the weapon shop in Newtower) and press the action button.

Hi Roy! Thanks for the Feedback:
1) Wow, that is unfortunate, I will start bug testing heavily to see if I can replicate the error. I apologize. As soon as I find the error, I will upload a corrected version.
EDIT: If you manage to identify the situation that makes this happen. It will be extra helpful. But I will surely fix it even if you can't. My apologies again.
2) Yes, you're right. That is just an text mistake on my part. The value displayed should be correct. It's just the text that is wrong, it should say "Blacksmithing". I will fix that.
3) Hmm... Have you tried pressing the action button on them? I think I know which ones you are talking about... I will go on about fixing them.
Thanks for the reply! Let me know if you are stuck or anything.
Any comments are always appreciated.

Ok, I know I promised a review, but where I got so far doesn't seem to be long enough to merit one, so I'll post some of my impressions here.
+ Definitely keep up with all the subtle animations and poses you have for the characters, like drawing their weapons, crouching to pick up items, the capes flowing, the animals moving and growling. They give a definite plus to the ambience, which seems to be pretty strong in this game. Add in the sounds of rivers flowing, the little footstep sounds on different surfaces and you're on to something.
= I don't know if the faces are all custom made by yourself? They are certainly unique but they need some more work. They clash badly with the rest of the graphical style. Not a huge priority, though, I suppose.
+ The story is very interesting so far. It seems to be going places. I think I noticed some typos here and there, but they were few, so I don't remember them specifically.
- The intro, although interesting, is too long in my opinion. Trying to find a way to speed its pacing would do wonders for the game flow.
PS: I got stuck in the boss fight with the lion statue that hatches from the egg thingie. What level should I be at that point?
Oh! I almost forgot: NO RANDOM BATTLES. That's a +++.
Keep up the good work!
EDIT: I'll post more as I progress with the game.

Tiresome trials...
New or Old?
I'm gonna have to vote for the old one :)
EDIT: Perhaps lower the position of the logo on the title screen a bit more so it's better centered?

GET CRAFTING!
Max, judging from some of the screenshots, I have one tiny suggestion about your UI that I believe would hugely imporove the overall quality of some of these menus.
Feel free to entirely disregard this tiny piece of advice.
I have finished downloading the game now, and I am about to play it!
As I mentioned a few days ago, the main idea interests me, and I can see you have rich lore/background/ideas for this game.
But it is not until people start playing our games that we get feedback about the important small details.
Sometimes it takes some effort to find the best way to execute a nice idea.
So, wish me good luck and sorry for the wall of text!
I think you should address the way that item names that are too long (e.g. 'Copper/Fire Opal Necklace' in the first screenshot of this thread) get "compressed/squished" to fit.
As you can probably notice, some of these names are compressed even though they don't actually take advantage of the full horizontal space available.
2 (3?) fixes come to my mind, and neither one of them should be too hard to implement:
a) Adjust the "width" property so that the text doesn't get horizontally compressed before reaching its maximum length.
b) Make the font size smaller (matching the font size on the right hand panel of the screenshots in the previous posts, perhaps?)
(c?) Avoid too long names/descriptions whenever at all possible???
