Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

I've finally found time to start playing this seriously and I'm enjoying it thus far. I found a few minor bugs I'll post in a minute, though I should mention I didn't bother recording the ones with passability errors since these often seem to occur due to certain scenes, and they aren't game breaking either and thus they'd probably be a huge pain to fix.

1. After I find the midnight dew and everyone heads to bed, cindy doesn't recover her hp. I would of assumed it would of healed the whole party after that scene. Seems this is the case for every sleep scene.

2. I noticed every single skill in tash's skillset requires level 5 mind arrow to be learned. Shouldn't the third skills require some of the second skill to be learned, rather than just the first skill?

3. The special book from falks room never disappears after it appears in his inventory.

4. In fates skill tree, auto life does not require recover to learn like represented by the arrows.

5. At the beginning of chapter 3, Falk says: didn't you say you're family lives in avale town. You're should be your.

6. I don't know when it happened exactly, but the sign in yanbear woods turned invisible (although you can still examine where it is to get the message, and it still blocks your path).

7. It doesn't seem worth the effort to spend all that time on vitala leg items. It took me mayby 30 mins to get my first 20 and the sword is weaker than my meat getter (which was way easier to get for a mere 1200 mana). I'll still get all 3 items though..

At any rate I'm nearly done with chapter 3 and it's been fun thus far (though I hate the fact I can't go back to that first cavern after obtaining the x-ray glasses). I've found two level eggs (which I'm saving), a skill crystal, and a radical shard/whisper gem (which I suspect may have a use down the line). One other thing I found strange is the guy carrying a heavy sword can attack twice, but the one with claws can only hit once. At any rate, this is a start, and I'll post again when I've progressed a couple more chapters.

Edit: Just to give an idea on what I meant by the vitata items not being worth it, I'll give an example. Not only are they far more difficult to obtain than my forementioned better weapon, but after obtaining 2 weapons (just finished my second weapon), I have a full party of one level 12, and two level 13s, and I have 4647 mana that there's no need to spend since I have all the best equipment from that town. Factor in the fact that I havn't obtained a vitata leg from every vitata (sometimes I even obtained 0 in a triple vitata battle) and the fact I've run from 8-10 battles that didn't obtain a vitata...that's a lot of grinding for equipment that isn't all great.

Don't get me wrong though, the idea itself isn't bad. The equipment is just isn't good enough for all the time and effort you have to spend for it. It's not even hard to get really...just time consuming. I'd prefer fighting a challenging miniboss for ingredients over this, especially if the equipment was good. I think the equipment needs a buff, and the ingredients need to have some sort of challenge to getting them rather than just wasting a lot of time in the area.

Edit 2: Forgot to mention, but when you pick an item from a trader, it doesn't even ask for a confirmation if that's the correct item, the main character just says here. I havn't misclicked any, but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen to others.

Edit 3: I must of been tired last night...I just noticed the claw user has weapon 1 and weapon 2...rather than weapon and shield. My mistake there.

In mention to how you mentioned Nya hitting only one with her claws; the guy with the sword hits twice with his sword but every other character apart from Myst only hits twice with TWO weapons equipped, meaning Nya needs two claws to hit twice. If she has both on she will hit twice. You start with one claw and the second feline claw is in her cave, you have to use the goggles to find it.

I only bought one claw from the vitata leg trader. I think part of the point is to get you to train a bit while obtaining the legs, but really at that point all you need is the claw which is better than her feline claw.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

The person in Tag's Fort was an Old Woman. I forget what she says but she stands right outside the jewelery ish shop. There's an old lady that walks near her.

Anyone know what to do with those levers in Tag's lab?

I read that you use them to get a soul stone and I tried the suggested combination with no results, go-go goggles on.. like I saw the hidden monster in another room but I can't get whatever door or passage open to reach it.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

I do believe they are found in the earlier areas of the game.. but that's all I'm sure of

@igotrazoThere will be a boy with a pile of hay to the bottom left of Arrowseye. Destroy it with the Zippo.

... Okay so in Arrowseye (I haven't been to Tag's Fort yet) I went through the upper exit, came back in, and when I press A, it make my character glow green sometimes and lets me run faster. I also was after to destroy the kids hay pile after this but no other time without pressing A. And unless I missed something, I have no Zippo, and if I go back to an old save and press A, nothing happens. Glitch?

(a glitch I intend to keep on using though, instead of haggling with the shift key to walk faster it just makes me walk fast until I turn it off... I just hope this doesn't become a problem later in the game...)

EDIT: Yeah I'm not gonna risk it glitching up getting the actual zippo, went to a save that was made 20 minutes before instead. But it's definitely a bug of some sort.

EDIT 2: how do you even know if you have Soulstones? Does it tell you or is it like the sparkles?

EDIT 3: ... also cannot figure out in the bunny place how to get to that green and yellow side by side platform.. theres a tree in the way...

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

Ughhh... for robbing the Little Girl's house, how do you get to see the traps? Cause they vanish after Myst says 'The princess used to have these' and then the cutscene ends and the traps are invisible..

EDIT: Pfft.. reasons why I should just follow the main story line first.. thank you

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

Is the 'Onxy Shield' supposed to be spelled Onyx?

and is pressing A supposed to make your characters run instead of walk?

-Go to the area to the right of Snowdown.
-Go to the upper house and talk to the coke lady.
-Exit and go to the bottom house to talk to the resident.
-Go the to armor shop and grab the sparkle and chest. Do not leave the building before doing both of these things or you will miss it forever.
-If you already messed that part up, return to the title and select New Game unless you don't care about 100% completion.

do you mean don't leave the town before doing so?
Because shit I already left
X_X

oh you're kidding i've only got 4 radical shards. -.-

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

any help as to how to get that sparkling thing in the Snowdown armoury place..?

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

^ thanks ;) I feel silly now.

Also just in case its noteworthy there appears to be a glitch in the Arrowseye armor shop where the save book is kind of walk-over-able. Not sure if it's just my game or a legit glitch.

EDIT: I just picked up Gummi again in Arrowseye and I'm at the second set of spikes but there seems to be nothing to close them with.. help?

EDIT2: nvm pfft.. didn't realize there was another path..

EDIT3: Dodgers armor... raises evasion.. and lowers agility... seems a little.. fishy..

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

Okay I went back like 2 times and found someone mentioning that you need to use a Zippo to break the boulders. I keep seeing this Zippo come up.. what is it??

EDIT: also kept reading to find that its actually an important tool.. is it possibly an item received in Tyrone or Avale from one of those 'give me this and ill give you that' people?

and from what i gather all the cokes gives u

i think it's like after you get cindy's uniform you need to finish the coke dream quest to actually get her ultimate

figures, it's cindy...
