Here's a class script that does what you're asking: Blackmorning Job Changer. You'll have to follow the instructions closely to understand how to use it.

I'm not sure if there's something specifically made for what you're asking (Pokemon graphics) but Yanfly Engine Melody lets you use sprites for both the monsters and the heroes and with enough tweaks could probably get you close.


im nto looking for graphics from pokemon. Im looking for a battle system similar. :) and ty for the job changer.

Just a Couple Things VX...

ALrighty, what im trying to do is create a Class/Job system. Without using anything crazy extra. Is there a way to set a Class, to change its class, at a certain lvl? Example:

lvl 1 Girl.
at level 10, Class Girl, changes to Mage. this can be eithier a Choice - or based on a condition (like, to become a mage at lvl 10, you need to have a Mage stone. or you become something else.)

Curious if there is a system in existance that uses Pokemon like battling. Only without pokemon...

Example,

Battle Processing starts.
Enemy shows itself, and you appear on the bottom left while he is in the top right. WHen you use a skill, you nudge, and then the skill animation makes contact. If not, i will look for a FF like battle stlyle.

i think that does it for now. most stuff is event based i need finding out but i will get that done mahself. :) thanks in advanced!

That does very much. righ tnwo im using VX, and im exporting the chip sets and creating my own through photoshop, hoepfully that works out for me. im just really doing thing sin character sheet like hair color changes. I havent gotten to play with it much yet. i am upset that I cant get more then the given tile sets. and i didnt mean 2k3, that was my bad - i thought XP = 2k3, which came first?
95 came first, followed by 2000, followed by 2k3, followed by XP, followed by VX.

Well all im doing is exporting the character sheets and face sets into photoshop, and altering colors etc. Like Actor 1 face/CS - the blonde girl and pink ribbon, is now a Black haired and Beaming red ribbon. To fit the character needed. Its all i knwo how to do because I cant draw anything myself. haha.

You make chipsets through photoshop? Do you do that with battle animations too? ... I make a lot of resource sets with photoshop, and I've developed very very quick ways of to get them made. I wonder what your method is. I could probably help you with that.

Alright, its been a bit - but back when i used this site and the makers, i used somewhat 2k3 and VX - i belive where the two diff ones. Can anyone yell at me to let me knwo which is the mose commonly used, and resources available here on rpgmaker.net? Just so i can get the proper one, and get back into - with a well sourced knowledge base behind me :)
