Should I reinstall the game I already know how to transfer saves. also my class is magia so what gear and weapons can I use?

I have a problem. Every time I walk to the slave seller during the dialogue the game crashes I've tried reinstalling the game 3 times still didn't work. The error message is Script 'Khas Awesome Light Effects' Line936: NoMethodError occurred.
