SBETHUNE81'S PROFILE
Hello! I'm the 6th-8th grade math and science teacher at a small K-8 school in the Sierras. I recently moved to Oakhurst, California, about 30 minutes outside of Yosemite, with my wife and 16 month old son. Before that, I worked as a 5th grade teacher in San Jose. I love designing and playing video games and cooperative board games. My favorite parts of RPG making are writing and eventing. When I'm not doing that, I like to run, bike, and play volleyball. There is never enough volleyball.

Thank you, sbethune81! Now I'm in the complex and this sneaking thing is something unexpected which is a good idea!
Glad you like it. There are two forms of sneaking in the game, the other one coming later.

@Noel_Kreiss - Thanks for playing Manifest. The missing piece of driftwood is most likely in the trading company itself...it's the case for most people who get stuck there.
Manifest
@Superes - thanks for playing Manifest through to the end and for taking the time to write that review. I enjoyed reading it. As far as criticisms go, the game being too perfect doesn't sound so bad =). Please share the game with your friends.

For those stuck on the ruins east of Dagron, see below.
There is an item in your inventory in the special items section that you probably knew you had at one point, but forgot about later.
Thanks for playing!

Minor bug detected:
There's an Issue with Fidese Hp/level up after level 80: it raises and falls without a reason. EX. lev 81 Hp 284x, when you level up you see your hp raise to 301x but at level 82 hp raises from 294x (and not from the 301x you truly have to 308x.
I'll look into it, thanks for letting me know. To my knowledge, you are the first to reach level 80+, and that includes me, so that is untested territory. It's still based on the default parameter curves(up to level 99) set in the database though, so I have no idea why there would be errors.

Currently playing. I appreciate the emphasis on exploration, and the characters and story is greatly developed.
Thanks for giving it a try. I look forward to hearing more of your thoughts along the way.

@Superes - Thanks for letting me know and congratulations on your accomplishment...that's no easy feat. I went in favor of having a longer scene before that particular fight, rather than after it. Good luck with the end.

I've just arrived at the Ospes Festival and I can't believe the number of mini games you built into this game. However, I believe I have come across a bug related to the Divination (Ally) ability. I've put the details in spoiler tags.
When I use Divination (Ally) I am unable to select Novriath or Efflora. They are not listed. I've tried shifting around my party members but it makes no difference. It's a minor bug granted but I figured I'd mention it.
I hope you're enjoying the festivities, and thanks for letting me know about the divination problem. I'll look into it and fix it up. It may have something to do with what I wrote in the spoiler below.
Is it happening when Armegmus is wandering the festival alone? If so, try using divination again when your group is back together and let me know if it works. Thanks.

I'm making my way to the end of the game, but I'm sidequesting. Because of this I will put down my questions
1. The list: I found the emerald scale (and I'm leveling there CRAZYLY) and I know where to find the rest. It seems like all is made of random monsters loot... but the phoenix; I can't find it in the forest... it just doesn't show. Isn't it a random monster?
2. I miss the last tower and probably it's the easiest, but I'm stuck (I breezed through the raining island ruin, it's pretty incredible): I found the note about the ruin on the dead island with the triples I have to follow but I can't use it. I tried pushing the switches in the given order tryin' every possible point as the 1, but the door won't budge! About this... since the beginning I have the same problem: I can't use key items INSIDE buildings: game ALWAYS crashes without warning if I try to read a note about the ruin when I am in the ruin itself
3. In the Syndarion cave I found the room with expressions. I solved them and the smartest thing I found to do was using an ascendent order. Well, probably I'm awful in maths, but even here the door won't budge
4. The Titan of Ospes tournament. I'm at level 70 but Napalm Rats kill me... what's the level suggested to try beating the tournament? I'll go to 99 anyway but I'd like to use the last levels in the last dungeon :( - my party: Vellamik - Val - Fidese (I never changed it)
Thanks :)
Good to hear from you again. I'll put my answers below.
1. There is a bird that you randomly encounter throughout the Taebris Forest called the Pterax. You can get a feather from killing it, but it is easier to steal it. Hopefully you don't have to fight there long before one shows up.
2. The position of the numbers on each page of the guide correspond to the position of the buttons. For example, if the top right number is a 6, it means you have to hit the button in the top right as the sixth button. If the bottom left number is a 1, that's the first button you press.
3. Each of the expressions on the sign post should work out to a number from 1 - 6. That will tell you the order you have to hit the buttons in. If you calculate an expression and get something other than 1 - 6, try recalculating them. Do everything in parentheses first, and multiplication and division come before addition/subtraction. All from left to right.
4. You are definitely high enough level to kill the napalm rats. It actually doesn't have anything to do with your level. They only explode after taking damage, so be sure to never use any multiple target abilities or they'll all explode at once. Attack one or two, they'll explode, then heal up, and repeat.
Good luck. Let me know if you have any other questions or need me to elaborate on any of the above answers.
