I'm an epileptic and slightly dyslexic, though I don't really expect any special treatment (in fact I've been treated like shit in the past even when being the nicest possible to people) I've kind of gotten past how I get treated since I can't really do anything about it in others eyes no matter what I do. (that's not up to me anyway)
I'll probably only make games I want to play (as most indie devs tend to do) though I don't mind doing mapping or the like for other games if the opportunity arises.
Really, I'm more of a writer, so game designing has been sort of a writer's block tool for me so far (even though it has even more added stress of visuals and sound, but for some reason it does help with ideas a lot)
One other thing I want to add; I've found I don't really like updating stuff on here, so a lot more of my game dev updates have been put up on my blog, instead. I may only use this site as a somewhat "promotional resource".
Hope people enjoy what I make, even if they don't turn out to be the best out there. (and believe me, I know I'm not the best at this; there's bound to be problems)

Um... I did have thoughts on other visuals (I'll bold it since it seems it's being missed due to the other paragraph) and I'll expand a bit, if that helps.

It really doesn't have to do with just varying color; really, it doesn't even have to do with images. Epilepsy is more caused by over-stimulation to the brain (thus why many connect it with just flashing images, but it can be caused by any number of things)
That's why I said it's okay not to change it; I've kind of gotten used to not playing/watching things that may cause too many problems.

So, are you small for a hobbit, or just referring to the fact that hobbits are generally small?
I'm certainly pretty average sized, but considering I've been using that for awhile now (first username I came up with) it's hard to say what my thought process was when I made it... It seems people still like it, though, so it makes no sense to throw it out.

Can someone do a character & face re-color for me, RMVX Ace?
I'm afraid my photoshopping skills aren't the best so you may want to wait till somebody better can come along and try, but here's at least my attempt:
(the sprite was at least slightly easy thanks to all of the Ace sprites being basically the same, though there may still be some stray pixels... and I'm not sure on the coloring for the face; it was the best approximation I could manage...)
