Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!

Thanks @Nebelsoft! The game you are working on looks very polished.

I am in the process of populating my platform with quality art work and I cannot find good free/inexpensive anime portrait. Would you know of a site/person I should go?

Thanks!

Working on an Action RPG Maker for iOS platform so that people can make action RPG on iOS without any programming.

Action RPG Maker on iOS

Thanks CashmereCat. Do send me your UDID of your iphone/ipad in a private message. I should be ready for beta by next week (I hope):)

I am leaning towards action-style RPG; also to differentiate with existing platforms. The big challenge of making the editor on iPad is that the screen size is limited, but I am hoping that its mobility would be a great plus factor. I myself do most of my coding on trains/cafes/waiting in line, rather than on my desk at home.

Space should not be an issue at this point. The largest files are usually the music files.

Action RPG Maker on iOS

Hi,

I am working on an Action RPG Maker for the iOS platform. Users without programming background would be able to design and publish their RPG games for the iOS appstore. As I work on it, I would like to gather some feedback from this community. Specifically:

a) Would you prefer an Action RPG (e.g. Secret of Mana, Diablo) or turn-based RPG (FF) for the iOS?
b) Do I need to provide an extensive graphic library or just allow users to upload their own graphic libraries? (I will provide a basic tile/object set from open sources, but it would be costly if I were to commission quality graphic work. Do aspiring game makers have problems getting their own art?)
c) Would you be interested in being a beta-tester? (It's still very unpolished but I would appreciate all the feedback.)
d) Would making your RPG on mobile appeal to you? e.g. making your maps on your iPad during your daily commute on the train.

It is still very crude at this stage but the videos below gives some idea on where I am at now.
