RMN sucks 9

This apparently is a great software for designing 2-D action platforms.
The program incorporates graphics from the original mario world
levels and combines features from the classic mario bros 1,2,3 series.
A cool aspect is how gombas (bad mushrooms) and koopas (turtles)
can be converted to friendly role-characters or vice-versa.
Goodluck!

The Portal of Destiny (Version 1.8)

Well thanks for playing, link...
You can't judge a book by it's cover.
I did my best to make the game as realistic as possible.
Link is able to swing his sword and defeat his enemies with accuracy.

Fable of Heroes I: Legendary Edition

When I first played Fable of Heros, I found this game to be quite entertaining.

Plot / Characters: 3/5
The introduction features a princess kidnapped by demons while trying to escape from castle grounds.
I sensed alot of zelda and final fantasy themes as the rtp-based game progressed in difficulty.
Alex, 16 was the main character, accompanied by some older friends who were also rtp characters. Although rooted in the classics like dragon quest or pokemon blue or silver, the game ultimately had a unique plot and storyline. This aspect made this game fun to play from start to finish.

Music: 3/5
A full spectrum of nice music ranged from fanfare village themes to tall spooky towers to multi-basement caves. The variety of resources to create such a game in some ways was just as impressive as playing hero's realm. The palace of winds music from the minish cap in particular was my favorite tune.

Mapping: 3/5
The battle encounter rate seemed relatively high without compensating for the hero's slow movement. Yet the regions in the overworld maps were designed well and proved awesome to explore. The desert to the north were simply connected with forest and marshlands to the south. The first few towns had interesting names like Mazor and Tokei. Lots of new familiar elements common in rtp design appeared like elevation, the water sprinkling around the boulders in the river, and use of panorama to create interesting visual effects in the map tiles used.

Gameplay: 3/5
Saving at churches, attaining lots of useful items in cabinets, pots, opening chests in dungeons and paying to revive unconscious allies were fun old-school elements I enjoyed as a kid. The second and third bosses were especially difficult for me. I examined the remaining maps and found them to be impressive. The player earns money exponentially to buy many equipments although the growth in the experience curve is linear.

Overall: 3/5
Overall my rating for this game is approximately 3/5.
This rtp-based game was worth playing. I would recommend that more old-school fans to consider
playing this game. This game is really a fun challange but good experience as far as it goes

The Portal of Destiny (Version 1.8)

I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Why not focus on the positive aspects of the game,
namely role-playing characters and dungeon exploration.
