Metroid Other M consensus seems to be...
Play other Metroid games. Or Shadow Complex. Or generally just not Other M. Writing Comment: Script is a relic from the PS1 JRPG days. Or it was done by an anime sub group. I generally can't tell them apart.

For clarity, "not Other M" is for if you want to play a game about exploration. Like Super Metroid or Metroid Prime or whatever.
