CloseWelll that was close. Party almost lost their cleric in the third fight of the whole campaign. I got critted from 14-> -3 HP by a Heavy Crossbow Bolt, thankfully RNG was on my side and I managed to Stabalize and use my oen Heavy Crossbow to drop the offending Orc out of the tree.
Only thing is that I've probably used up all my good luck for this campaign. That's our party screwed then!

play more AD&D. you'll learn to just design your character so well the DM can't do shit like that to you.

It's a 3.5 game, I ain't played in way too long, and the rolls I got for stats aren't the greatest, but hey, my character's doing what he was created for: Combat and healing.
Thankfully if he goes down I've got a backup Aasimar Favoured Soul in the works with much better stat rolls, and his god's favoured weapon is the Bastard Sword, so he can pretty much hop through the random portal that stores non-present characters and take my cleric's place.
I was in a meeting today, and inexplicably for the last hour all I could think about was programming a 2D physics engine mostly based on squares for fun.
