I watched the two made in the 1960s, and they weren't too bad - they just didn't felt like Tintin. But a 3D film... and by Spielberg... just :x

Definitely wish I had a bit more free time. As for now, being a BOAT MAN is eating up a bit of my pleasure time. I do check in here whenever I can or if I'm needed, and I'm not planning on vanishing any time soon/ever.

EDIT: Actually I've heard so many stories about unhappy/abusive families I often wonder if there's a fundamental flaw with the family system (no offence to anyone here (kentona) but that's honestly how I feel).

Canadian politics is pretty boring to me. But Layton was the only party leader I actually liked. RIP and stuff. ;_;

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

My family is basically awright. I don't really talk to my brother because he is a suave hipster pastor with lots of drive and enthusiasm, who grew up playing sports and caring about how popular he was; and I am an introverted laid-back barely-employed computer geek, who grew up playing tactical RPGs and avoiding all forms of social interaction. But I just got back from his wedding in St. Louis, which he asked me to be a groomsman at despite our fairly negative history of sibling rivalry, so that was cool. And we both get along great with our parents, who are still married. There are plenty of good families, I think they're just generally too boring to talk about.
Of course, everyone in the world is fucked up in their own way. Avoiding all forms of human interaction is totally the way to go.
