For some reason, I feel my incredulity meter tripping. Maybe the police just looked the other way due to your serfs forking over that 320 dollar bribe? Or maybe this is just advertising for the blade shop you work for, or your knife fighting classes?
No, self-defense classes are closed and the blade shop only goes on commissions... It is more like a arangement where I act as a salesman for a local blacksmith whom runs the actual shop, thus why I am always traveling and never can get to my cosey apartment in Jamestown.

I could bring up some of my background and explain why your story seems a little off to me, but there isn't much point to it. You're either telling the truth, or not, and you're the only one who knows for sure.
Leaving that aside, "Fight like hell" can be great advice, but the best way to win a fight is not to get into it in the first place. It is better to be aware of one's surroundings, and to make sure to project the image that you are not an easy target. Body language can go a long way toward helping to keep a person safe.

So... I found out that the TSA will not let you load several boxes filled with knives and swords onto a plane without a handling permit (Bloody red tape, who would have guessed). I'll just drive in the morning instead, and make it there by 2 am instead.

it's probably for the best. he's a racist, a homophobe, the worst kind of capitalist (he's a monetarist, an economic theory retrospectively discredited by its chief proponent and symbolic father milton friedman), believes global warming is a hoax, wants to extend states' rights to any matter not covered under the constitution, the actual ramifications of which would include individual states overruling roe v. wade, witholding one of the most important of women's rights (incidentally, ron paul also reintroduced the sanctity of life act in 2005 for this very purpose)
saying that ron paul is certifiably insane would give him too much credit as not being completely disgusting. i do not wish to do so
