I am really wishing I could draw right now. Being the stubborn human being I am I just can't admit that there's no NATURAL TALENT evolved because hand-eye co-ordination is very important in art, and I don't have it!

The good news is we got our laundry back. Good thing because if we didn't I would have lost most of my clothes.
The bad news is my cat (which stayed at my mom's house when I moved out seven years ago) died in August and my dad and brother didn't tell me until TODAY. :'(

Well not really, but I remember when I had Art class when I was younger and I got C's and D's while everyone else got A's. I think there is a certain natural aspect to it because I had been doing Art as long as anyone else did.

I was taught when I was a kid that art is a practice. The more you draw, over time, the better you'll get. Well, at least, that's what my dad wanted to tell me - as he didn't believe anyone has any kind of talent whatsoever. *black swirly clouds of sadness* He was kind of a prick like that. *mumble mumble* And I want to know why I haven't really improved when I've been drawing a lot, especially during college. some of my art is worse.
Current thoughts: I'm trying to figure out how to make chapter 2 of my "Odysessy" games. See, I want to keep the same world map and towns all ready there - but add more to it. You learn that the chain of Suri islands is not all there is in this world, there's much much more. Which means there's a whole lot of the world that needs to be drawn. But do I just edit my file on VX on chapter 1, and go like that? Is there no way to copy it? Because I'd really like to keep my original programming data for part 1 incase I need to make a change like credits or something... *ramble ramble*
Other thoughts of the moment:
~I need to see episode 4 and 5 of the Tales of the Abyss anime tomarrow, as 5 comes out then.
~My baby seems happy, but she's got a cold!
~I want to make that Dragon Quest Slime fangame, but I am really needing help with coding for a lot of it...
~I want alfredo for lunch today.

So I've been sketching random things a bit for the past hour, and I have to say I'm not as bad as I thought! You just have to be really into what you are doing, and use common sense when dealing like things like anatomy, and you'll do fine! :)

I'm really hopinh, hoping, hoping that the Red Ring of Death that my X-Box 360 crashed with last night while I was playing Dead Space was JUST A FALSE ALARM. The game started afterwards, which is heartening, but I have been too afraid to try it since.
If this console is really dead it will be the THIRD X-BOX 360 CONSOLE I HAVE LOST. I had one get stolen and this one is a replacement for the replacement of the one that got stolen, which died from RROD (general hardware failure).
