WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

Wondering if I'm cut out for software engineering...most of the work is not in devising solutions to problems (which is what I'm into), but in learning libraries and copy-pasting other people's code. Not my cup of tea.

I don't think I hate the environment, just having metallic jetpack legs would be cool. Even better would be having minifridge legs that dispense bottles of Dr Pepper every now then.

Whilst discussing Deus Ex, I came up with a few great ideas for augmentations like having my ribs removed and replacing them with piano keys. I don't think minifridge legs is a particularly good idea.. it might be a bit stumpy to walk on. Stick to jetpack legs for now, and maybe get minifridges for shoulderblades?

Today I hear something sad I think, I was in the bus and a little girl enter with her "mom", they seat at one side of me, so I listen some laughs and thought "they look a like a united family", just in that moment I hear the "mom" ask the girl to live with her.

According to Tokyo Gore Police, you don't need robotic jetpack legs to fly. All you need is some ticked off semi-mutated cop girl to cut your legs off in a fight. Then you just have to inject some super steroids (looks like they include some predator blood in it, aka glowstick juice) into the stumps, and you can jet propel on your steroid infused blood!

I do not recommend you try this at home... so just go over to the neighbor's house and... no, better not try it there either!

I don't like it very much. :( I know the pay's good, but..there's a part of me that'd rather go into research. Computer Vision is looking fantastic at the moment.

Apparently uploading or linking zip files to or from RMN decimates SMBX files, or something. And now 20 solid hours of work is gone forever.


Well technically its still there, but now its all BLANK. >:(

what do you mean? you did work on levels on your PC, zipped it, deleted it off your PC, emptied the recycling bin, uploaded it to RMN, and now when it's downloaded and extracted..it's all blank?

if that is the case, I doubt it's because of RMN.

Especially since we have done 4 collaborative events where people zip up their levels and submit them now, not to mention the many team games made in SMBX wherein people also zip up and share levels via RMN. I also made it so that you can upload .lvl files directly to your locker and it gets a unique icon and everything.

Also, did you delete them from your harddrive or something?

I'm not blaming RMN: It was the only convenient scapegoat I had at 6:00 AM for stuff mysteriously not working.

And no. I didn't delete it from my hard drive. :P The RMN upload probably got corrupted because it got corrupted on my PC. How that happened however, I don't know.
