In all seriousness, I'm pretty sure girls don't collectively hate you. Maybe just one or two girls are assholes towards you because girls in a group are the worst. I wouldn't take it too seriously.

I found out that I might not be qualified for conscription because I have hypothyroidism (and I do have symptoms if I don't take my meds)

Nightowl I am not sure If I should say you are lucky or unlucky , but at least you are not forced to waste your time for something you don't want to do. and If someone start a war with Iran (high chances) well it was good knowing you all :P.
Finnish conscription isn't really tough, but it sure is a complete waste of time. Every old patriotic fuckup here will tell you that you will come back as man if you go to the army. Yeah, maybe back in the 60s, but now that hazing has been disallowed, the conscription is like an one-year Carey Bear theme park trip, minus the bears and plus the military theme.
