Finally back home after another day of travel. Somehow, even though I didn't get a chance to sleep after work I'm completely ready for the night.

Seems to be MIA for more than 3 months since his last post. I'm pretty sure you've had plenty of opportunity of making up for lost time and sleep in that time free. I hope he's doing OK and not going AWOL or something ...
Watership Down is about bunny rabbits and it's a pretty good book! Can't put it down. I especially enjoyed the part where some of the bunnies were temporarily drafted into a fascist state run by the stringent General Wormwood. Where rabbits are bitten on different parts of their bodies at birth to create a scar that shows the mark they belong to. That way the rabbits can be organized and kept under control more easily by the solider and officer rabbits! Each mark is only allowed to go up to the surface to eat at certain times of day, and are otherwise compelled to stay underground their whole lives. The hero rabbits' plan to rescue some of the denizens and resulting escape were quite riveting.
Did you know there's an animated movie of this? That parents showed to their children? I did.
The bits with the poison gas killing the heroes' home warren, spooky tales of the mythical Rabbit of Death, and the leader rabbit getting shot and crawling into a sewage drain where he almost died were also pretty good.
