WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

^Very yes. It's super fucked up. Games like that are annoying. I mean, fair enough if her character is such that she's not a fighter, or that she's been traumatised or her blade is possessed and forces her to fight, but if she's supposed to be an actual real fighter with real skills as a fighter, then she should know how to throw a punch outside of her blade, and still do some damage without it. Hell, I'm not a fighter of any kind and I know how to fucking throw a punch!
But Liberty, that would require the developer to put some actual thought into their characters beyond genre/gender roles. I don't think you're legally allowed to do that, at least not in the AAA industry.
This is the main reason I don't play a lot of RPGs (or big name games) anymore. Too much "Saaaaave me, hero!" even in 2014/15. If the female lead isn't a completely helpless dumbass then you can be sure she'll be throwing herself at the macho man hero's feet the whole game. Give me a fucking break.
Anyways, I usually don't like remixed/covered video game music, but I have fallen completely in love with the Final Fantasy Piano collections. The collections for VIII, IX and X are incredible. Pity they didn't cover any Freya related music on the IX album though.
Current favourites:
I really wish they would have done covers of Final Fantasy I, II, and III. There's the Piano Opera album, sure, but it's definitely not of this quality.
I had not one, but two interesting dreams! Hide-tag time!
First one:
This one is certainly more fuzzier in general, but, I seem to recall looking up from the ground at three people. They were probably looking for some kind of treasure, or something, since they were looking at a map. Then, one of them got eaten by a T-Rex, and the others started running like hell. My vantage point shifted to follow them.
Next thing I know, I'm on some grassy rock, and I start thinking "Hey, what if I'm actually on some kind of giant?" At which point, the arm of the giant (which I was standing on) started moving, and I started to fall.
Next thing I know, I'm at the house where I grew up in, and being chased by a T-Rex. How the hell it got through the front door without tearing anything apart, I'll never know. Anyway, I was already up the stairs when I saw it, so, I ran to my parent's room, at which point, I leaped out the window. I think I woke up after this, but, my mind keeps envisioning me either flying away, or being able to flip up onto the roof, and evading it that way.
Second one:
When the dream started, I was with my family on vacation. We were staying at a hotel. Though, when I went to breakfast, I wasn't sitting with the rest of my family. I was sitting with a group of oriental-looking women who were brushing me aside. Literally! Like, even as soon as I sat down, they started to even move the table mat from underneath me! They were in the process of leaving, themselves, but it was as if breakfast time was over, and everything had to be cleaned off.
Next thing I know, I'm with a group of people that I recognize from high school. Normally, this is when I would start looking for a very specific person from my high school days. Which I may have for a brief time. Unsuccessfully, of course! However, eventually, I wanted to try and find a way to "shift phase" and go back to my family. I probably didn't managed that, but, I clearly recall getting into a school bus (sort of?) whose brakes did not function in the slightest. I apparently gave up, and allowed myself to reverse-drive into a body of water, figuring that this would get me up. Which it pretty much did.
Personal interpretations:
The first dream could be about fear. I figure the source of said fear is probably from the job I just started, or from McBacon Jam, or some combination thereof. The second one seems to suggest a lack of control over some facet of my life. Which may very well link to the previous dream, especially if the context of that dream is the new job.

I just got done watching Dodger's Hatoful Boyfriend playthrough (been putting it off for a while) and I tell ya, I don't know how to feel.

I've heard about this story briefly. The reason why I know this is because I live in Vancouver.
Half-thinking of doing a revival of this thread. Maybe after McBacon Jam Game is done?
N-no! My broken promise!
Don't bring that up ;_;
I still haven't paid back the devil!

I'm 32 today, without kids, and about to spend the night drinking wine. Sounds about right.
Edit: on a side-note, an animation college I was deeply considering attending about 5-6 years ago when I dropped my dreams of ever being an animator...just moved locations to a 5 min walk away. -_-;
I'm already in personal debt, and each year is approx. $10,000 each for 5 years.
It is with extreme bitterness that I have to walk by this on a weekly basis. Very sad about that. Especially today. Animation was my dream.
Edited it: on a 'brighter' note, my mentor in comics told stories about how terrible and unprofessional/weak the school in question is.
I've read similar reviews online.

I just hair-of-the-dog'd the toilet. I take a dump around lunch, flush sounds a little funny but looks alright. Come back later, do it again, flush, toilet barely tries to flush before the water level starts rising dangerously high with all contents still in there. At the last second, the weight of the water/waste pushes the clog out and the flush completes.
A true badass clogs the toilet and unclogs it with more shit. Sorry, plunger, looks like I won't be needing you anymore.
TMI, I know, but this was too awesome not to share.

Now, I'm thinking about the scene in Dumb and Dumber where Harry goes to the toilet (with massive diarrhea) and finds out that it doesn't flush. Not because of the crap, in this case.
(I'm too lazy to put a link to the scene. Plus, nobody wants to see someone doing their "business.")
Good birthday. I bought myself a red velvet cheesecake slice after breakfast because I don't want to tempt my girlfriend who's on the GAPs diet at the moment; played Mario 1, 2 and 3 until we got game over. Then had leg of lamb, boiled beets, and sweet potato mashed with turnip. Watched Blade Runner. Now having cheese and wine, watching a cheesy b-movie, 'House'. Solid.
Also managed to hammer out a commission to a Holmes vs Moriarty fan (rare).
Great day! I was so looking forward to wallowing in self pity about aging, but this is much better.
