In other news, I'm going to try recording a "blogcast" (A combination of blog and podcast) today. I've been thinking about doing one of these for a while, and I think I actually have some material to talk about! Saying that, I have no idea how well it's going to work, or if I'm just going to give up before I start, because it's super embarrassing!
Funniest (saddest?) part of this story is that I found that I muted my microphone from... the one time I tried doing an LP? Man, that was... a while ago!

The problem with Yuna-10's VA is that she tried to lipsync to something in another language and it sounds awkward as hell. She quit trying to do this in 10-2 and it sounds way better. That this happened shows how bad the VA direction was, but this is the same company that gave us FF13's VA work.
(I've also thought of changing my username here, a few years ago I moved away from having one encompassing pseudonym and now there's only two sites left that I use it on. One that charges for a username change and hates my credit card, and here which I haven't done because all my games are done by GreatRedSpirit and I don't want to bother Kentona to update the staff shit to remove this mysterious grs fellow and I an horribly indecisive and can't pick one here, all the original cool ones are used up)

Requesting this for April's fools: Randomly replace everybody's username and avatar with somebody else's. We'll have to guess who is who based on their makerscore!

By changing it to Yuney.
I was born with Liberty (middle name... thanks Dad), but I kinda wish I could change it to silversatyr because google searching finds all things American... but most people know me as Liberty and it's been forever that I've had the nick so I can't really justify changing it except to confuse people.
And while I deem that a worthy cause for certain reasons, (trollolololollll) if I ever did do it, it'd be for that reason only and thus a short amount of time. :\
I say that, but I changed it in a major way on RMW - from Liberty to ksi. It confuses some people. SO much so that someone actually sent me a PM here telling me that this person called ksi was claiming my tiles as theirs! >:O Dat bitch gonna get stitched!

NewBlack's name change doesn't stop me from calling him Newbles. And I still call Puddle Kyrsty. I should break out the Donuts more for addit, though. ;p Never forget where you came from~

I used to think I hated Yuna, then one day I realized that Yuna was great and I actually hated Hedy Buress.
In fairness though I actually think it was the voice director's fault, not the VA's. There is no excuse for that laughing scene.
That laughing scene - one of the many reasons I prefer the sequel. Also, no Tidus. BIG improvement. Granted, no Auron but those are the sacrifices you have to make for a better game.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I never disliked Yuna's voice acting, I thought she did a good job. Certainly better than any of the NPCs or enemies, or Kimahri. And IMO also better than Tidus, Auron and Lulu.
I mean the game had really bad voice acting all around, but that was just standard for all video games at the time, really. And, uh, is still really common. There was nothing abnormally bad about anything in it, really.

No Auron was a downer, but Paine made up for it to me XD
But back to Yuna's name. When I hear the name Yuna, I think "the maker of Enelysion and Tristian" before anything else, especially here on RMN :D
