Shadows are good...

And you're lecturing ME on the lessons of Doctor Who. At least count the shadows before you hide in them.

See now the Silence never really worked for me as a villain, but the Weeping Angels, they got into my head.

I look away for one minute to write up a business proposal and I miss the 1000 page party.

No, the shadows. The Vashta Nerada. Not the Silence. "Donna Noble has been saved."

True to my word. For you, Addit, you quick-shooting son-of-a-gun.

Oh yes of course, that's one of my favs (as is Donna). You're in a Library, look me up. Classic. Though of course that episode did introduce the interminably irritating River Song. Still Donna and 10 (or whatever the reboot numbers him now) always lit up the screen together so I can forgive a lot.

Why thank you, Liberty. It will go along great with the rest of my collection. 

Oh, finally, someone who doesn't worship the ground River Song walks on. It's not her character so much that bothers me as what she represents. Early Doctors may have had some tension with members of the opposite sex, but you didn't see any of them acting like rabbits in heat.
I want a female Doctor, damnit!

Also, I wasn't big on River Song, though I did like Donna a lot. She was plenty spunky~

Woah, 1000 happened and I didn't even notice, geez

Donna was great and yea, for whatever reason River Song always bugged me. The library episodes were really good, though.

EDIT: okay like two straight pages of the post history are this topic, nice job ya'll ;)

It's quite amusing that there's a typo in the achievment.
You cannot stop the thread, Liberty. You can't for all that you represent.

River Song was just painfully smug, and seriously smug is the Doctor's bailiwick. The whole romance side didn't work either, not because the Doctor couldn't get some, I'm sure he could, Susan was his granddaughter and he's mentioned a son, but River just never worked in regard to chemistry for me. Cross species relationships would never be easy but you'd need a least some spark and all I ever got from her was cockiness.

In regard to a female Doctor, I can only say please not now, not ever. That ridiculous Master/Missy thing was enough. Gallifreyan society was equal, Time Lords and Time Ladies were treated exactly the same and with respect and honour accorded to both according to their merits. Hell Romana kicked the Doctor's arse in regard to ability and skills and he knew it. The Rani could run rings around him and laugh whilst doing it. It depresses me that we want to weigh down something which already embodies the ideal with the plagues of our own making. We should aspire to be like them in that regard not make them like us. Also it's pure escapist fun, it should just be that.

If you really want a female Doctor there is always Jenny, she's basically a female clone. I'm really hoping she turns up again one day, Georgia Moffett was brilliantly cast.

Oh and just to add, I don't worship the ground that Amy Pond walks on either. Rory I thought was brilliant, but Amy was narcissistic and whiny early on, and self righteous and victim-fodder later. Though I really liked her as a snarky 12 year old. If only it wouldn't have set off every alarm bell in the world for a grown man to be shown travelling alone with a 12 year old girl I would have said she made a perfect companion. Though then again given the Doctor's age, all humans are children to him.

As soon as I saw that I had over 100 notices, I knew. I wish I was there for the decisive moment though...

Dos Box is cool. I tried to use it once with HoMaM 2 and failed.

I've successfully run Heroes of Might and Magic 2 in DosBox. Though, to be fair, I'm using the original 1996 version because casting Armageddon with negative spell power is the bomb.

Still, maybe I can help. What seems to be the issue?

*Edit: Do you have D-Fend Reloaded, or just DosBox?
