this x100

I put up with Opera v31 (I think it's up to that now), and I have Firefox or IE8 at work, so... I use FF.

I did just upgrade to Windows 10 though. Gotta check out Edge.

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sacrifices I'm offering to our Google overlords.

you mean Alphabet Inc.
every time I open chrome I sacrifice all my ram bits so I can get a browser with auto translate features for about an hour when it breaks and requires a browser restart

@GRS pretty sure I can't help you :( but I've been using Chrome for several years now and can't remember it ever crashing. Freezes every few minutes but I just click my mouse and it's works fine. Not sure if it's Google or Yahoo because somehow Yahoo has some kind of a deal with AT&T who I use for DSL.

HEY, Kentona, did you buy Win. 10 or get the free upgrade from Microsoft????
I got the free upgrade from Microsoft, even with my less than totally legit version of Windows 7. Seems to be activated and everything.
kentona did you change the forum colours for second posts? because it's pink for me (a very very light red/pink) instead of grey.
I used like 50 shades of grey on RMN, no pink.
Chrome itself doesn't crash (not now that I bought more ram a few months back so I can sate it's ravenous appetite so I can use it and other things at the same time) but the auto translate feature just quits working. The only reliable fix is to restart the browser that I've found.

Now firefox, that one will just quit rendering what's in a window except what's highlighted by the mouse. I think it has serious issues with my monitor setup, most windows just get shifted around but recently firefox just shits a brick. Or randomly with plugins (read: flash). I'm going to try changing my off-browsing to Edge and see how well that works.

Also I can't describe how excited I got seeing the gif of harper. I fucking hate love election season. I promise I won't use it for the whole remaining ~68 days.

(I have others lines up but no other are as... delightful as the current)
Must be my driver update that did it. I wonder if there's a way to undo it.

Gotta marathon P<32C shit because I've got a backlog longer than my leg although honestly I've started falling out of her style. She's just not as funny and engaging as the Game Grumps.
I wanna watch the rest of Person of Interest, but I was tricked in to thinking it was a full series when I started watching, so now that I know it's not the last season, I don't want to watch it yet. But I know if I leave it for now I might not pick it up again when the last season comes out.

This is why I only like watching complete series - I can get them out of my system with no wait. BTW, I highly recommend Person of Interest. It starts out as a 'We save people from bad guys with the help of a number that is sent our way by a machine' and heads into 'OMG it's 1984 and we're being watched by literal AI who are now warring against each other in a bid to control information' and just turns into an ode to Orwell and Asimov. The characters are also a found family (my favourite type) with an inexpressive ex-CIA agent, a genius heart-of-the-group older gent, a kick-ass police woman who is black and the only really honest person in the group, the bumbling but still smart corrupt cop, the ex-assassin who is also kick-ass and is sociopathic and yet so lovable and loves the dog (and wimmens), the crazy-ass woman who can handle her shit and talks to the machine and does everything it commands, another kick-ass lady who comes and goes and gets Mr ex-CIA out of legal trouble (and in to the best kind).

And the dog who just brings everyone together. Don't mess with the dog.

Oh, yeah, and the machine who is female, protects her crew as much as she can and is waging a war of power against another AI.

it's a good show. i'm now going to bed. night all!
Talking about series. I don't know what to watch next. I'm very much into sci-fi-esque, Space-y, or super-natural stuff. Among my favorite shows were The X-files, Stargate, and Fringe. But I've seen pretty much everything else. The only two shows I've been putting off are Star Trek and Doctor Who. Mainly because they go back decades and I would not know where to start watching. And the sheer number of episodes is kind of intimidating... Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on this? xP

I'm also tempted to start watching Game of Thrones because everybody I know just won't shut up about it. But I'm less into high-fantasy stuff. Usually, the complex names alone lose me, and I don't know who is who anymore.
