Since Sprite Zero is a thing I'm honestly not at all surprised diet orange soda exists. I don't drink any soda that isn't Sierra Mist that often anymore anyway, though, so eeeh...
Is diet orange soda the same thing as 100% orange juice?
@Mirak, u should be able do it. However you should specify, what you want to do with the given extra character and whether you need it as a party member. There can be easily an event, which removes it from your party before entering a battle and adds it back in afterwards.

Hell, if it's not taking part in battles (and thus not using skills, equips and the like) it probably doesn't have to be in the menu. You can just have an event during scenes that represents that person.
Or make a custom 'Companions' menu that shows when you have other characters in your party through various ways. Have a menu that starts up instead of the main menu and have it show all your party, then have an option to 'Configure Battle Party' or something like that which takes you to the main menu.
Have a key item that calls a submenu showing a companion list or something like that.
Have a certain key that when pressed shows you who is in your group, separate from the main menu.
Also, here:

Ya for the Brits. They are now trying to reduce racism in a country that is nowhere near the country they don't want to offend :) did that come out right??
No more free sombreros for the studends and a tex-mex restaurant gets no more free advertisment :)

Now that that's done with, if I were smart, I would not type "rpgmaker.net" into my browser URL bar again until I've got a hankering to make or play some RPG Maker games. (Which is a condition that seems to effect me more-or-less annually, or at least has for the last decade or so.)
Also, my game company's second Kickstarter funded successfully in the last 48 hours. What a nailbiter. Pretty stoked. : )
