WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

Now that that's done with, if I were smart, I would not type "rpgmaker.net" into my browser URL bar again until I've got a hankering to make or play some RPG Maker games. (Which is a condition that seems to effect me more-or-less annually, or at least has for the last decade or so.)
You know nothing but good will come from this, right?
You know, I'm getting really sick of people justifying shitty behavior of any kind or are in denial about things. I'm trying not to flip out here, though, stronger measures will have to be taken.

Pretty much! XD I need to start and fail another few community games to gain corporate EXP. :P
I get that you are trying to be funny, but really, it's true

I apologize if you find my behavior to be shitty. I maybe get too ornery about topics like that but I also find it kind of upsetting to watch them constantly get derailed?

Well, I can at least respect the effort that goes into those, even if that's generally the outcome.
I wish I had more to add other than "whelp, it sucks when these things don't work out, but it happens." >.<;;

damn Snow Owl, ya look like you got smaller....did ya buy a shrinkin' machine? :)
Must be my back problems finally taking digital form.
Back pain huh??
Hurt mine in Vietnam, 1967.
Lost 2 inches because of shrinking discs.
Bent forward because of the constant pain.
Thank God for methadone, don't know where I would be without it.....
Don't holla at me, you brought up back pain :) hahahaha

Yeah, it's never cool to celebrate a thread getting closed. That IS one of the many faces of censorship (or "censorship" if you prefer) in and on itself. Personally, I would have preferred it stayed open just a tad longer. I wanted to challenge some stuff... It's so demoralizing. Are there really no better solutions to our problems other than white-guilt and newspeak? =/
Oh well, there's always next week's drama. Or the week's after that, or the week's after that. All the way until the bitter end...

I'm still personally awaiting the thread dedicated to my deathmatch with Shinan for the fabled corporate janitor title.
It will be glorious. And bloody.

author=LibertyI had no idea any of these things like creating custom menus and assigning custom actions to buttons were possible in vanilla rm2k3 to be honest. I still don't know.
Hell, if it's not taking part in battles (and thus not using skills, equips and the like) it probably doesn't have to be in the menu. You can just have an event during scenes that represents that person.
Or make a custom 'Companions' menu that shows when you have other characters in your party through various ways. Have a menu that starts up instead of the main menu and have it show all your party, then have an option to 'Configure Battle Party' or something like that which takes you to the main menu.
Have a key item that calls a submenu showing a companion list or something like that.
Have a certain key that when pressed shows you who is in your group, separate from the main menu.
author=LibertyThat looks interesting but it doesn't say if the game has to be an rpg. If it has to be then i'm super screwed because creating dialogue in any engine that is not rpg maker is nightmarish.
Also, here:
author=SatedLike i'd be totally up for using any other system but it seems like tons of work to make sure it works as intended and i don't know if i have the motivation to do that when i barely have enough motivation to make all of the graphic assets from scratch. Making a game alone sucks, specially so when you know the game in the end is going to have a mediocre story because i'm not a writer. But i digress.
If you don't use the default random encounter system (hint: you shouldn't because it sucks) then it'd be really easy to remove a party member before battle and then add them back to the party afterwards...
GB and its fascist politics and Deepinpig Cameron sucks. Luckily I can have Mexican week all appropriate in my xenophobic country.
Just wanted to say that the Isles are a boiling pot.
I want an illustrated first-reader edition of cheekbones thread to be able to read it. Preferably with X-men as a cameo.

I'm not sure what, exactly, prompted this thought, but, were there supposed to be achievements for The Golden Age of Gammak?

yay you successfully shut down the discussion! *high fives*
Credit is certainly due to him, but there were plenty of others that made that topic a shithole and deserve just as much credit.
