EDIT: Found my answer. There's actually a definitive "male brain" and "female brain". Who knew? Unleash the sexists!
Except there's the fact of something being wrong with someone who has mental issues and correlating that to trans or homosexuality is saying there's something wrong with that too - that it is not the normal way a human body or mind should be. That they should try to cure themselves or 'deal' with the 'problem' as though it's something that needs to be regulated and kept under control or worked around like it's a bad, unnatural, unnormal thing.

Meanwhile straight is oh-so-perfectly fine. Let them do as they like. They don't have to regulate because it's 'healthy' to be straight.

Frankly.

I've been away from the computer all day, and really there is only one thing I'm thinking.

There is running water on Mars. Freaking running water on Mars!

My inner and outer geeks are currently shaking their groove things on the patio and I'm cracking the champagne.

Running Water!

Next it'll be tripods on Horsell Common.
I typed up a whole big reply but frankly, I don't want this to turn into another cheekbone thread. Not sure why you thought posting this in this thread was a good idea, but I'm just not gonna engage. There was more than enough talk in the cheekbone thread.

So, yeah, not bothering (except to say that I know about mental illnesses, since I have one myself, and that yes, they are wrong - just as a broken arm or severe illness or disease is wrong. Just because it's wrong doesn't mean the person is to blame or that they can't do stuff for themselves or don't know better than to act like fuckwits or aren't capable of living in society (except in the most extreme cases - such as my cousin who is one of the worst cases of autism in Australia). So, yeah, I know about mental illnesses, thanks, and they are wrong - just like Sated mentioned much more clearly than I just did.)

Also, yeah, holy shit. First a blood moon, then water on Mars! Woo for science and space this week! I say woo, sir, woo! XD

Don't care. I'm tired of talking over shit like this with people on this forum and others, so yeah, I deleted my post because not engaging. Tired of the sexuality/gender/etc topic. Find someone else to try and goad.

I'm quite aware of blood moons being quite common. You missed the part about it being during this week. And water on Mars is a big deal, I'd much rather talk about that than cheek-thread related stuff.

Oh, I'm sorry. I took the fact that you were trying to make something out of the fact that I didn't bother taking up the topic you were talking about to mean that you wanted an explanation. I'll remember in the future not to bother replying when you call me out for something or ask questions of me. Apologies!

We found water on Mars. That's so special. It just happened to come at the same time of a Blood Moon. Coincidences are interesting to some. Oh, sorry, you asking questions of me isn't about me! I'll just stop bothering you now with the whole 'answering questions' thing.

Huh? The next supermoon eclipse isn't for 33 years, that's not common, especially when it's part of a tetrad.

Edit: Oh, you weren't talking to me, right, sorry.

Going back to dancing on the patio!

If you're not watching ContinueQuest, you totally should. They're up to their 11th video of Super Mario RPG. You can check it out below:

IMHO, Bowser works better as a hero than a villain. Discuss.

We get our hands on it, we'll ruin it.
We don't, it's useless.

It's all about the money.
That... seems like a fundamental misunderstanding of the discovery.

Microscopic alien organisms that won't evolve to an exciting degree for the next few million years. Snore.

For everything else:

• If the solar system expands, it'll freeze. If it compacts, we won't live long enough to be able to adjust to the climate shifts and properly populate Mars.
• Even if we stay stationary and the Sun only gets larger as it hastes towards becoming a red giant, the water on Mars will boil and turn to gas. Earth will be scorched long before this happens, however.

Yes, it'd be exciting if millions of years in the future, Mars or Venus became the new Earth, but at the rate we're going, we'll wipe ourselves out before we get there and animals still won't have evolved to the point of possessing the mental or physical capacities required to leave this rock.
Why would the solar system suddenly compact?

No I guess I just stand by my previous statement. None of what you are saying is making any sense at all.

Don't blame me, I was raised Christian. I don't know shit about astronomy.
Those damn christians eh. Never bothering with science and just saying it's all irrelevant instead.
