CloseFrankly, I've never seen the Bible and science as mutually exclusive bodies. If you think enough, you can come up with reasons for things to work, and if you can't, well, there's always things we don't understand about ourselves, let alone the whole universe. I mean, we only learned about DNA this past century. Science has made so very many breakthroughs and learned so very much over just the last 100 years that it's incredible.
That's all I'm going to say on the matter because my allergies are hitting me in the face with a hammer and I don't have my allergy medication, so my mental state is somewhere in the "Oh fer fucks' sake staaaaaahp sneezing ;.;" zone and not at all conducive to talking about religion vs science and all that jazz. XP
In other news, at least I remembered to purchase dettol cream this week. Especially since I cut my hand last night while doing the dishes. Yey~ (Don't worry, it's not serious.)

Woo! Congrats to our Canadian buddies. The leech has been removed. Now you just have to stem the bloodflow, add some bandages and give it time. Keep a close watch, though, just in case infection starts up again.

though I am disappointed the NDP has done so poorly. they promised to repeal C51 and not support the TPP. Now we can only hope that the Liberals see it for the crock of shit that it is. I would have been happier with a liberal minority and the balance of power with NDP. But I will take this over Harper any day!

In the game submission page, what does it mean by "friendly url"? Like, what do i have to write there? Any examples?
I also don't see an option to modify the CSS. Does it appear after i've submitted the game?
There really should be an article detailing how to submit a game step-by-step style.

Ignore it. You don't need it.

It doesn't appear until after you've created the game page. That doesn't mean accepted. It simply doesn't appear until after you hit the submit button. Once you submit your game page, when you go back and edit your info, you'll be able to access CSS at the bottom.

FREE! I"M FREE! FINALLY! ;^;
So, I've been through some shit in the last hour or so. My aunt's sig-other (Leon) decided it was a WONDERFUL FUCKING IDEA to give my 3-year-old niece a present. A glowy light stick that sings LET IT GO from fucking FROZEN.
Usually, I would be okay with this, except for three things:
- It is loud.
- The lights spin and turn and are glaringly bright.
- It sings only two fucking lines of the song. Over and over. And over. And over again.
I am dizzy from the lights. I have a headache from the combination of lights and loud music. I hate that song with the fervour of a thousand dying suns. Now. I didn't before but this has done it for me. I feel sick. Actually, I feel as though I've been in the centre of a club with strobing lights and very loud speakers after far too much alcohol. As I speak my eyes are flashing after-effects of that shit, and I've only seen it in the peripheral in the last 10 minutes or so.
She quickly learned that shining the lights in people's eyes was a bad idea when she shone them in mine after I warned her not to do it. Aunty Becky will always do what she says she does. She lost privileges to the damn thing for 10 minutes and boy did she sulk and cry and groan and act like a little brat about it. But she hasn't shined them in my eyes since. She'll learn like the others have - Aunty Becky can be just as stubborn as they are, if not more so. ^.^
But yes, I finally have retreated to the solitude of my room, safe and sound from the dance routine of half-naked bratling swinging a light baton of twirling dizziness.
Til tomorrow, at least.
