WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

I hate how computers are like camels in that they can go from healthy with no problems to completely dead in a second without warning.
It's like i'm playing hot potato where the stakes are years of memories and work.

I can basically guarantee this isn't what happened
If the processor(s) were on a pin grid array and had sockets, then I can agree. Ultimately, we can't know for sure unless we see it.

Solid state drives often die before the PC can give you a warning, but PCs these days are very capable of telling you they're about to kick the bucket.
My laptop died like a week ago. I keep wanting to turn it on to find that all is well, and it was just a bad dream.
I find it odd how my cheapest laptops have a always lasted the longest....
Seriously, I'm really not nice to my computers at all...
I bit the bullet and have one of these coming in the mail at some point now.
I originally was planing on another laptop type tablet.
But last min I decided on this instead.
I feel it would be everything I would ever need for drawing/painting.
Plenty of buttons for mapping hotkeys ect ect.

I could only dream about seeing one of those.
I have a Wacom Cintiq 13HD, and... yeah.
It's all I could ever ask for in a drawing tablet, really. Best birthday gift ever.

There's rumors going around that deviantart might be on it's last years. There was another series of layoffs and now their staff count is around 40 strong compared to the already low number of 100 back in january 2015. No one is buying their core membership due to the sudden increase in pricing and their forums and ad services are all kinds of fucked up.
It's time to download every piece of artwork you've not go local backups of and start looking for other alternatives. It's going to be tough to find something like it though.
DeviantArt has been my main source of freelance jobs. Most of my pixel art and music track requests come from DeviantArt. I fear what the future might hold for those kinds of endeavors should the site close down. I don't know any other sites with such an active (and varied) job offers board that caters to freelancers from all around the globe. I guess i kinda feel scared because being mexican really puts a damper when trying to find jobs online, and deviantart was the only place where being mexican almost seemed to not matter.

Can someone explain to me how ANYONE could have thought this was a good idea?
Have you tried those sites like freelancer.com Mirak? I've never tried really, but I did find DA to be good for finding a few small jobs here and there.
I imagine if DA died then something else very similar would take it's place.

I don't see how it's a solid investment. If someone goes to Youtube to watch a video but then gets hit with a hour long pilot episode of something that they don't plan on watching, they're already annoyed that their time was wasted. Being annoyed at a show really isn't a good way to make a first impression, and they will be more likely to just skip the ad and deliberately ignore the show.
I know I did. If I ever see Animal Kingdom become a series, I'm gonna just click away.
(See, I can say that because I don't watch TV anymore. I might actually be an awesome show, but I'll never see it.)

I don't ever remember writing fanfiction, but apparently I did... when I was 9 years old. It was a Pokemon fanfic and I found it in my closet. I might share it one day.

What kind of robotic arms? Or what kind of, burgers?
I'd read it Corfaisus, idk if that's preferable or not.
