author=Satedauthor=CrazeI don't feel sorry for people who are actually causing issues, but it's demonstrably false that only "angry white men" voted for Trump. S'all I was saying.

Anything can cause cancer nowadays, so this isn't very surprising.

It's funny, cuz it's not any better than the real deal. Like people should worry less about some stuff (I'm not smoking, but we got a new disgusting legislative, which consists of putting disgusting pictures of body parts, sick babies and dead people on packets of tobacco and cigarettes) and just let it be, instead of coming up with silly alternatives. Like it's should be your own decision whether you smoke or not, same goes for alcohol. It's your health to ruin and if they want to make you healthier, there should be a positive propaganda.
Also, I heard cornflakes can cause cancer.

While it's true it's your health to ruin, to think that doing those two things ONLY affects you is foolish, sorta like the "Let me be stupid" argument.
Secondhand-smoke is a problem, and your choice to ruin your health could negatively affect those you smoke around. Alcohol is different, as you can be responsible with it and not drink yourself to death or to a point where you make stupid decisions like driving home now that everything is blurry.
Agree though that the scare tactics seem hostile and uncomfortable. Positive reinforcement is generally better than negative reinforcement, right?
Reality is unrealistic sometimes.

We've had that imagery on our ciggy packets for years now. As well as descriptions as to what stuff can happen to you. Brands are only allowed to have their name on the packets in non-descript writing too. I think it's a great idea personally - give people something to think about while they're whittling away their lives.
I drive past the local highschool a couple times a week and it boggles my mind that kids are still picking up smoking. Older peeps, I totally understand. They grew up with it and they know it's bad, but gash durnit they like a puff now and then anyway.
But kids in 2016... fuck, I dunno. There should be a way to expedite lung cancer with the push of a button.

Never a bad thing to just be friends with a hottie, who knows what could happen at least the option exists
author=FroggeWeird, in my case the 'hotties' i try to court have in many cases turned out to be gay. It's a common thing here to have the mindset that if the person is beautiful there's a big chance they'll be gay, i don't know where this mindset comes from but i'd be lying if i said every person i know doesn't think of it this way.
that always seems to be the case with hotties ;w;
After around an entire hour of stalking people on facebook to find his name
i realized
we have a school yearbook
i could have just looked for him in there
anyway i know his name now AND i found another hottie over at facebook so now i know what to do in case this plan backfires >:P

frogge just do what i do, make friends with them anyway. i have hit on so many of my friends in the past. the process of flirting can be strikingly similar to the process of getting to know a person. and if it gets odd, be honest about it. i've found that a lot of these friendships have actually improved after being like "yeah i might be acting a little weird because i actually do find you attractive, i'm working through it though because i also just enjoy your friendship"
i mean it's kind of annoying that i only ever wind up liking straight guys but whatever
EDIT: DON'T FACEBOOK STALK YOU WILL GET BIZZARE MISCONCEPTIONS IN YOUR HEAD PLEASE LEARN ABOUT PEOPLE VIA HUMAN INTERACTION

that seems sensible, but considering i live in an environment where ''gay'' is commonly used as an insult and truly weirds out most people, and also because i haven't come out as gay as of yet, it's a little risky. Though, according to yearbook, i have two friends from primary school who are in the same class as him. Maybe i'll try telling my primary school friends to tell me a little about him on monday.

I (apparently) have a tendency to be flirty, even when I am just having a good time & talking to someone new. It's nice~ but it's definitely caused issues before, as well.
People who are flirty when they have no intention of engaging in any sort of relationship past a standard friendship kinda suck. It's the equivalent of turning the water heater on and then not taking a bath.
