Does anyone know if you copy event code from pirated 2k3 can it be pasted into a project in the new official 2k3? to quickly transfer old games into the new engine

You can open the game in official 2K3 and it'll automatically convert it. I've never had a problem with it. It'll warn you that you won't be able to open it in the pirated version of 2K3 again.
Oh, yeah, I forgot. You'll have to convert your RTP manually.
Still, easier than copy pasting a game page by page, event by event.

Also, the legal version added some quality of life changes to the engine, such as alt line colouring and different event code colours like in Ace, making it so much easier to view code.

Oh, I was unaware we were playing Dark Souls older brother Death Souls, the game where everything is impossible times infinity.
Or you could be playing Remnants of Isolation where a lot of abilities only cost one or two MP anyway.

Good thing I napped early and decided to pull an all-nighter before church, because my precious black cat Honda dropped a dead mouse on my bed. Cleaning the sheets now.

Cats tend to assume we're incapable of feeding ourselves (which amounts to hunting, basically) and try to teach us how they'd been taught/taught their kittens. Which means catching 'food' and giving it to us as a way to show us 'this is food, giant kitten'. If it's still alive you've graduated past the 'little baby' stage to 'going to learn how to hunt or by god I will keep dropping these things on you, giant stupid kitten' stage.
